He dove in but was careful, he had stopped and anchored near a sand bar and as he found it and stood up, the water there was only a bit over three feet

He tossed the ball in the air and Marco was airborne flying through the air to catch the ball and land, quite ungracefully in the water, but with an impressive splash

Over he swam to drop off the ball covered in drool..and back he swam to the boat, waiting for Danny to toss his next challenge into the air...he was dripping wet, but his tail was wagging big time

She tried to shield herself a little from the sudden "rain" from Marco's tail wagging.

She smiled loving watching them so happy playing.

Danny tossed the ball...Marco caught it...swam back

Over and over...Marco dove through the air more than twenty times and caught all but two

Danny loved every second, Marco was the son or maybe brother he had never had

Finally he asked her

Do you think we are making a mistake...if you do Jess, I want you to bail...I would never forgive myself if my doing this hurt you?

Do you mean the new angle to our job or this?

When it comes to our new assignment... My trip keeps you me and the team safe no matter what. As for this... I have no where else to be or would want to be.

The job

Of this I have no doubts, I just wish it didn’t have to end, but I am not thinking about that. I am just trying to enjoy now

I'm not sure how you do that in this situation, but if it can be done, I have faith in you

But I didn't mean that as much as do you think, forgetting for a second how far south this might go, that cutting off the heads of these drug cartels and gangs can created chaos so we can make some real inroads in getting to them?

Suddenly he hard Marco barking, standing on the pontoon, impatiently wagging his tail

Sorry boy, I didn't mean to forget you....

And Danny once again threw the saliva and lake water logged ball into the air into Marco's waiting jaws

She smiled and winked.

Okay, last one, then I need to go enjoy some time with Mom

He threw the ball high into the air and Marco once again had perfect timing, as he splashed into the water

Up Danny climbed onto the boat, his body dripping with water as hit rippled in small rivers over his muscular body

I think we have our guy at least a little tired out, I was thinking we might enjoy a little Danny-Jess time?

I'd like that.

She smiled standing up to hug and hold him
