Sarge nodded to him then looked to Jessie.

I know that look. What else is on your mind?

She nodded

If I for once suspect the team is in danger from those allegedly backing us you are all cut loose from this... Even you Danny. I will bring in my nephew and his crew and lead this little operation myself right down their throats.

Sarge just nodded as she walked back into the room to tell the others. He looked to Danny.

Let's hope to God they don't try to double cross her or any of us. I really don't want to see her worst case scenario plans.

Danny looked at her, and he knew in her own way she was just being loving, but no way in hell would he leave her...EVER. There was one thing he cherished in this life...

It was her, he'd take a bullet...go to jail...do anything...except leave her

"Let's go put a plan together...but we don't start until after next weekend right? He hoped she had not forgotten about the cabin...their plans...he hadn't

Monday morning.

She smiled and walked away to tell the others her same words about cutting them loose if it goes south and her nephew and his crew taking over and her taking the trap or whatever if they tried to cross the team. This recieved a "You can try" from Winnie that was quickly and unanimously backed by the rest of the team.

Danny was pleased to see that no one wanted Jess to be a hero, least of all him, but there was no one he wanted more as a partner

He pulled the group together

Okay, we need to find moments where one by one we can isolate the gang leaders and drug lords and kill them...the intent is to not expose anyone but kill from distance and wreak fear

My initial thought was we need to try to infiltrate their organizations in order to understand whee they will be when...and I think we should try to arrange multiple shots

He smiled, "Of course, what are other's suggestions?"

Undercover or infiltration would be best done by someone less known than our group. So perhaps CI's would need to be utilized more than ever

Okay, who do you suggest? I would suggest a combination of men and women, assimilating into that world will not be easy, and if they find out you are a plant, you know better than anyone, means you are dead.

 

[Asa]

Well then we start on the inside. Prison... we bargain info for minor perks... more yard time something like that. We get intel then use it togain more leads on the street and who we can sway with what incentive. Even if it means appearing as a ccrooked cop.

She looked around the room. Any other ideas

I think that sounds good, we can use guards perhaps who can trade favors for intel, there are plenty of guards who are known to be on the take. But we need to infiltrate these gangs, find ways in...a male gang member and he can bring in a flirtatious and not particularly faithful girlfriend.

We just need to know a time and place where the leaders will be visible, we only need a second, but we need to avoid having innocent by standers, I need less than a few seconds to take my shot!

 

[Asa]

She nodded.

We meet up 9 am Monday morning. To divide out who will do what and any progress in contacts.

She still did not trust this morning like it but it was what it was and at least she had the weekend instead of a week with Danny.

He gathered her as they walked out

This kicks off next Monday, what if we arrange to take off tomorrow

Thursday thru Sunday at the cabin could still be heaven, can you get away that fast?

No... I have a little trip to make. Contingency plan for this new less than legal assignment of ours.

She stared into his eyes as no one could know the real depth of this plan especially not Danny.

Should only be over night. We could meet up there late tomorrow afternoon evening.

He looked into her eyes, and didn’t understand the need fo mystery

That’s fine, I will be planning on being there late afternoon...waiting


He began to turn and walk away, then looked back, “I’m not sure what you’re not telling me or why you don’t trust me”

She hugged him whispering.

Just know that I am doing this to protect you and the team no matter what. I love you.

With that she turned and hurried away.

As she left the building she placed a call.

We need to talk. Yeah... I don't want to pull your son or his crew in on what I am doing but I need some info. You still talk to her? Don't pull that bullshit you know who I am talking about. No I need to speak with her cop to agent but I need under the table honesty.

See you at the diner. No... No one is expecting me to be anywhere till tomorrow evening. So yeah no worries.

She hung up and headed out of town.

Danny was worried about her, and he hoped she would confide while they were at the cabin

He went home, needing to tell his wife he would be gone at "training" but she wasn't there.

For a while he had suspect an affair, no for the sex, but his wife wanted things Danny couldn't afford and God forbid she ever worked herself

Her personal training job was little more than a hobby, but she trotted around looking hot, flirting for attention

Danny stopped caring long ago, he knew where his passions lie, and they would meet him at the cabin tomorrow night

Several hours later she was sitting there 3 coffees into her talk with her half brother when his "friend" arrived. She nodded to the woman as she joined them at the table.

The woman held her hand up silencing Jessie's question.

Yes I know and no I don't know who approved this recommendation on the federal end. Tread safely I will keep in touch but I agree that your nephew should have a crew on call just in case.

Jessie nodded to her and looked to her half brother.

Well all night range or go check on that son of yours?

He nodded.

Yeah he needs to know to be ready and you will need one of their phones.

She nodded and they all parted ways as she and her brother went further down the old highway to prepare the MC just in case.

It was about 4:30 when she got to the cabin. It was locked always but not in the traditional sense. There were wolves around the outside. And unique locks all around the house that only those who knew what to look for would find. Her father and grandfather had always seemed to have an unspoken understanding with the wolves as she saw a couple of them watching the cabin as she arrived knowing they were watching Danny even though he knew how to unlock the doors.

Danny had arrive a few hours before her. He knew the procedure but the wolves made it clear he was not family and they knew it

Nevertheless he got inside and hung up his stuff and put the rest in drawers.

He took the liberty of popping a beer from the fridge and ws down by the lake just sitting in the old pontoon in his suit, no shirt waiting for her

He loved this cabin...the naturalness...and everything was so balanced and peaceful

She walked down to the river after putting her stuff away.

He got up, and Marco came galloping over to her.

Hi! The wolves really eyed our boy here, how often has he been here?

Do you want to put on a suit? We could take the boat out and go swimming

He figured if she wanted to talk about her trip, she would, he wanted to make sure they enjoyed this rare time away

 

[Asa]

They were not eyeing him. They were watching you. You may unlock the door and have my scent around you too but still you are not up here enough... Till now.

Nodding aboutnswimmingnand turned to go get changed.

He smiled at the thought of having her scent around him, he hoped to drown in her scent over these next few days

Then we will have to fix that won't we

As she turned to go to the house he playfully called out

I guess we could make the swimsuits optional...I personally enjoy skinny dipping

He looked down at Marco

Of course she looks much better in a suit than we do, doesn't she boy?

And off her two boys ran, down the peer and diving into the lake!

Walking out a few minutes later she smiled watching them splashing around and Marco bounding around in the shallow water barking playing with Danny.

Danny and Marco both came out of the water shaking, and then he laughed.

I'm not sure if he is a worse influence on me, me on him, or we're equally corruptible?

Then he looked at her, "May I say yum!" He laughed and pulled her in to a kiss.

So we finally have a few days together...a swim first?...swim here or take the pontoon out on the lake?

Swimming is fine.

She smiled and curled into the kiss.
