*raises geek flag once more*

I'll take The One Ring for 500, Alex... err... 10, I guess. That'll do.

No movie, it's a real picture (somewhat color modified but still a real picture) :)

Titan - a moon of Saturn?

10 points for Shankara :nana:
The lines on the pic are the rings around Saturn. (Picture taken by the Cassini space craft currently in orbit around Saturn :D)

Well I'll be damned. It really did look like the Ring. :)

Let's see if this bugger will work.

If it does, the geeks will easily recognize it.

On a Mac; not interested in doing the convoluted things necessary to grab a screenshot of my desktop. Imagine an image of a hard drive in the upper right corner that says "Tom's Disk" in a blue oval and a "Dock" at the bottom, and you'll have my desktop. I keep it tidy. (visit www.apple.com if you're not familiar with the "Dock"; it's a combination taskbar and quicklaunch area)

I miss him so! This is not my desk top anymore. My husband swore it was slowing my computer down, grimaced each time he saw it, my son said it was "sick" too. So now it's just plan blue screen.

DAmn....put one of the pics of my little spider friend on there and they might not complain so much about hunky men, and also might leave your computer alone!! :D

I cycle through a number of pictures by a Polish Fantasy artist named Jacek Yerka. His work can be found here Jacek Yerka

These were downsampled to be small enough to post, you really need to visit his webpage to see the amazing detail he puts into things.

Currently the first attachment, "New Age Manhattan" graces my desktop.

So I'm not the only Mac user on here. :D I had mine changing every half-hour or so for a while, but I gave up on that. Damn file size caps won't let me post 90% of the images in my rotation folder, and Photobucket can go eat a tire. (personal opinion) Too much PITA to get an image in here.

Yea for Macs!!! :D

How do you get your images to rotate, BTW? (Never tried photobucket for that)
