1. Because lord knows nothing is as exciting as watching a couple of 50 year old church goers playing basketball.

2. No, unless you're launching nukes.

3. Hey, I was 12 years old when he hit that homer. Great memories.

1. What ever happened to the role models in sports? Or for that matter............**** basketball....................I saw the Harlem Globetrotters once back around 70-71.............now that was fun, and those old geezers sure could play!

2. Horse shoes and hand grenades................ now that's a game!

3. Yeah.............. I like the old days of sports.............. been collecting baseball cards for 32 years now...........hell, I even still have my stamp collection (geez................my kids are right, I am old!)

1. Role models are still there, it's just that nowadays we don't falsely make every athlete out to be a role model. Because of press coverups millions of kids in the 50's grew up with Mickey Mantle as their role model.

2. Well, it's all fun and games until someone loses an arm. Then it's just fun.

3. What old days? That was 1992

1. I did see 61 but more to the point I know history. I didn't like the movie right because it got one really important thing really wrong.

2/3 What a coincedence I was chucking frags when I was in diapers too!

too true...............But such is the nature of Hollywood

and too funny...............but the frags you were chukking............... nope, not going there............I remember all too well the diaper training that ended just 3 years ago for my youngest son.

I was thinking in general terms of ugly, as in not getting one!

Oh.

So who do you suppose will win the World Series this year?

Actually.......................

I haven't had the opportunity to watch a single baseball game this season. I work 7 days a week, 10 months out of the year, and my wife hates any type of televised sports...........

I've been off for two weeks now and go back to work on Monday. Thank the gods, I'm starting to get cabin fever!

I think it will be the other team in the...
