Pure Moonlight (closed)

Kreston rose to his knees, but instead of lifting her to her hands and knees as well, he laid her on her back across the soft fur rug that laid before the hearth. He smiled handsomely down at her, his hands hooking beneath her knees to draw them up to his waist before he unfastened his trousers and ever so slowly slipped into her waiting entrance. His wolf ears folded back slightly as he groaned at the amazing sensation. He leaned down to steal an adoring kiss as his strong back and thighs began to flex and drive slowly into her body.

Selena whimpered as she was placed on her back, her legs draw against his body as he gently pressed himself into her. It had been too long, she thought to herself as her fingers smoothed through the dark fur at his chest. She kissed him back with a sweet passion, gasping at the pleasure that coursed through her with his simply motions.

Kreston's wolfish instincts proved soft and gentle with her in her current state, rocking her slowly and steadily with his thrusts. His kisses grew warmer, deeper, until he began nipping lightly at her throat and she felt his teeth just barely graze the mark on her shoulder as if to remind her of the nights they'd made love like beasts enthralled in passion. They'd surely have those nights again after their next child arrived.

Selena always felt weak at the knees when he scraped his teeth against the mark on her throat. She let out a moan, whimpering as he made slow love to her. The wolf in him wanted to protect her and his child. It would refuse to allow him to go any faster and she felt at peace with that. His animal side wanted to protect her and she was willing to let him do that.

Kreston's pace kept steady even when he laid back and drew her up to straddle his waist and he let her sink down onto his shaft. He took on all the work he could, but encouraged her to move with him as his hands found her hips and guided her just so. When they found a particularly lovely angle, he let out a breathless groan that was half-growl at his pleasure.

Selena's face showed pure ecstasy as Kreston moved her hips at just the right angle. They both groaned in unison, his half growl making her tremble with need. She clung to her lover, riding him as they both worked towards that beautiful ending that they both craved.

"Kres. More, love." She moaned, her eyes closed as she tilted her head back, riding her mate to the best of her ability.

With asoft grunt of effort, Kreston braced his back against the floor and drove slowly and deeply into her core, giving up speed so he could be thorough and give her what they were both craving. He couldn't help it when she drew a long, hoarse groan from his chest and his seed filled her belly with fire. In that moment, he felt suddenly heavy and sated, but he didn't stop just yet.

When Selena came a few moments after Kreston, she let out a cry for him. Her hips jerked over his own, her hands bracing against his chest as she was illuminated by the firelight. She panted to catch her breath before she collapsed against his chest, chuckling softly against his ear.

"You have no idea how much I needed that." She whispered to him, nipping at his ear as they each recovered.

"You know... Now that you've gotten me going again, I'm only going to want more," Kreston reminded her with a breathless smile. It had been a similar event in the past. Once they started making love, they tended to start on a streak of lovemaking over the course of days until they exhausted their sexual drive for a while. Kreston had always been the one with more of a hunger for their lovemaking, but Selena had been the one that took more work to please so they evened out well.

"Well, then, I guess that I'll have something to look forward to then." Selena said, giving Kreston a smile as she kissed him gently again. "Nights full of passion and days with stolen moments of passion. How could that be a bad thing?"

"I never said it was," Kreston chuckled while his fingers absently stroked over her arm until he took her hand and kissed it. "I just wouldn't want to exhaust you, love." He laid her down at his side with all care. He'd always had a gentle disposition, but the way he treated her when she was pregnant was something entirely different. He acted as though she were fragile as glass, but he also knew that she was strong and probably wouldn't put up with him if he went too far with sheltering her. It was a delicate balance that maintained their independence when they required it and he tended to keep the balance quite well.

Selena knew that Kreston was incredibly protective of her and he had become even more so when she had announced that she was carrying his child again. After what had happened between them after their daughter, she knew that he wanted to make sure that she and the baby made it through everything safe and sound.

She pressed her lips against his cheek, sighing as she snuggled against his side. She did her best not to complain about his attention and protection, knowing that he couldn't help it. His wolf side practically demanded it.

"Thank you for being here." She whispered to him. "And for giving me space when I need it. I know it's hard sometimes."

"You have no idea," he murmured but gave her another smile to let her know that he took in good humor and stride. "It's completely selfish, you know... I know if I give you your space, I get rewarded for it every so often." As much as he joked about it, he wasn't in it for the reward. He knew she was independent and it was one of the things he enjoyed about her. She could do anything in his eyes.

"Well, you've done well at keeping your wolf under control." She said softly, laughing at his comment about how she wouldn't know how hard it was. "And I will always admire you for that."

Selena heard the sounds of Ruben returning, his voice carrying through the door as he talked with his grandfather. She let out a little sigh and knew that her time with Kreston was over with for the time being. It was time to return to their lives with their son.

"Invite your parents for dinner. I'll cook us all a feast. Your brother as well." Selena said as she sat up with his help and give him a smile. "We'll celebrate tonight."

"I'll see if I can get Taqu'un away from that girl he's been trying to impress," Kreston chuckled. He knew well about the German girl who'd caught his elder brother's eye and was beginning to steal his heart whether she knew it or not. Before Kreston left, he took a moment to listen to Ruben talk about this and that before he told his son that he'd be back soon. He headed off to talk with his family and Ruben came in from the kitchen trying to smooth out a few patches of wet fur.

"I brought the fish, Ma," he told her once he came to pause before her, unable to help the smile of a boy who was simply happy for no particular reason.

Selena laughed softly as Ruben came to show her the fish that he had brought back with him from his grandfather's catch of the day. She leaned in and kissed his cheek with a fondness that only a mother could give to her growing child.

"Want to help me cook them for dinner? We're going to make a feast for the entire family. It's been a long time since we've had everyone under one roof." Selena murmured, a smile on her lips that matched the one on her son's.

Ruben immediately jumped at her offer, hurrying to do all he could before she could even reach the kitchen. It wasn't long before Dayja arrived with Volgo, then Kreston returned with Taqu'un close behind. The brothers were trading prods and teases back and forth in Lunar, the game seeming to be who could embarrass the other more about their significant other. Kreston won out fairly easily when he switched to Erygonian so that Ruben wouldn't be able to understand, making Taqu'un's ears fold back flat and his eyes go wide. Dayja and Volgo didn't speak Erygonian too well, but they and Selena knew it just well enough along with Taqu'un's reaction to know that Kreston had probably suggested Taqu'un taking his lovely lady to bed. Even though Taqu'un was the older and probably not a stranger to such things, it still struck him at the thought of Ellen.

Selena listened to the two brothers verbally spar back and forth, each trying to get the upper hand. She glanced towards Kreston as he spoke in Erygonian and suddenly Taqu'un's ears folded back tightly against his head in embarrassment. Selena turned back to what she was doing, showing Ruben how to cut the vegetables before she handed over the knife and turned to face her mate and his brother.

"I would be nicer to him, Kreston." Selena murmured in Erygonian. "Or do you not remember our first night together?"

She gave a smile to her embarrassed brother-in-law, laughing slightly at the memory. "Your brother was so excited and he lost control less than five minutes after we began. When we tried again an hour later, the same thing happened. He practically ruined my sheets that evening."

Kreston had to resist all urges to hide his face, and instead chuckled in embarrassment. Taqu'un grinned at him and came to kiss Selena's cheek in thanks for her intervention. Once he'd stepped past to join Ruben, Kreston wrapped an arm about Selena's waist and whispered in her ear, "If only he knew what you'd done that night."

"And you'll never tell him." Selena said with a wide grin, pressing a kiss against his cheek as they turned back to his family. "Unless you want to spend the rest of your night's sleeping outside."

She found herself without a job to do, Dayja fussing enough over her that she was soon seated next to the hearth with a mug of hot herbal tea in her hands. It was almost as if her Ma and Kreston's were in this together, making sure that she took care of herself and left all the risks to other people.

"Really, Dayja, I can help with something, at least. This is the first time we're meeting Ellen. There's probably plenty left to do." Selena murmured as Kreston's mother drew close with a basket full of fresh baked bread.

"Between Volgo and Ruben and myself, we have plenty of hands in the kitchen. With Kreston and Taqu'un, we have too many," Dayja insisted, and it wasn't long before she shooed Kreston out and set Taqu'un off to pick something up and fetch Ellen.

Kreston tried not to remain too idle, but eventually his mother's insistence had him sitting down with Selena. Taqu'un's errand took a bit longer than expected, so he arrived with Ellen just as Dayja was setting everything out to eat. The werefolk didn't care for wasting materials on dining furniture and their homes generally had little furniture at all unless a human lived there too. Meals were usually had outside in the grass or gathered in front of the hearth. What with it still getting dark early outside, the family and their new guest would eat in the den.

Taqu'un opened up the door with the basket of wine and drinks in one hand and Ellen's arm looped through his own. "Cla'anna," he called the Lunar word for 'family' to get their attention as the two came to the den. "This is Ellen," Taqu'un spoke the lovely woman's name with absolute adoration. She was a fair-skinned and ever so slightly petite girl with gorgeous long brown hair and soft brown eyes. She had come dressed in a lovely but not-too-fancy dark blue dress with a basket of her own hanging from her elbow. She seemed fairly nervous, but greeted them as politely as possible.

"Guten abend," Ellen said softly, and in turn Volgo and Dayja greeted her in Lunar now that she knew it better than English according to Taqu'un. Dayja pulled the girl into a welcoming embrace soon followed by Volgo, and Kreston rose beside Selena to welcome Ellen as well. "Thank you for inviting me," Ellen said with a smile to them all.

"Remind me to have a talk with my Ma about talking to you Ma." Selena murmured as Kreston took a seat next to her. "It seems the two are conspiring against me during the last few months of this pregnancy."

It was sweet of the two women to try and make her life that much easier, but she had never been a woman to simply sit and allow others to serve her. It had taken a lot of strength to not grow bitter or upset and to simply sit back and enjoy the time.

With Ruben's help, she stood from her seat when Ellen arrived, greeting the woman with a hug before she ushered everyone into the den to sit down and eat while the food was still hot. "Ruben, can you get drinks for everyone?" She asked her son, giving him a smile as he scampered off to do as he was told without hesitation,

Despite the language barrier and Ellen's slight embarrassment at Taqu'un's family teasing him about 'bothering the poor girl,' Ellen fit right in and she was lively and bright and obviously in love as shy as she was about the subject. She took a shine to Ruben, mentioning how he reminded her of her sister's son back in Germany, and she noted that Dayja and Volgo were like the older couple in her hometown that ran one of the two bakeries.

Selena had a good time with Kreston's family. It seemed that Ellen would fit in with the family and Selena was happy for Taqu'un. She just hoped that his shy nature wouldn't split them apart before their relationship even started. She would very well wring Taqu'un's neck if that happened. She had spent too many years denying what she had with Kreston to watch someone else ruin their own life over it.

The family remained together talking even long after Taqu'un walked Ellen home long after dinner. When he returned, he was immediately subject to his mother's questions about how serious he was about Ellen. It was so much like Kitty drilling her own children about their significant others.

"Chela..." Taqu'un murmured at her questions.

"I know, I embarrass you. But you can't fault a woman for being curious when it's taken her eldest so long to bring home a girl."
