I've never been shy about my past and never been one to hide it, but I also never made it a point to overshare. My husband always liked that I was sexual, but wasn't too keen on hearing details about some of the things I had done. More "broad strokes" so he knew what I would be up for and what I wouldn't. I do enjoy sharing details though. It's kind of like showing off for me.

When I was first with my husband (before we were married), he knew the general arc of my sexual experience but not the full picture. We were then apart for about a year and a half after I cheated on him (this was also before we were married), and when we got back together, I told him everything. He didn't really want details, but I he got the full summary.
