Quirky obsessions

I do. The pen is fabulous. I've run through a couple of tips already, but they are easy to change and not very expensive. It has different settings, so you really feel like you're writing with pencil, pen, marker -- I really like the feel of it.

There are different page settings, so you can have different lines, grids, or no lines at all -- Very versatile.

It's also very easy to organize your writings. You can have make folders and subfolders as needed.

What I like about the Remarkable2 is that it looks like it can transform my notes into type text, so I can save my notes in those folders on my computer also (and be able to read them later....handwriting isn't great, though if I'm ever lucky enough to be cuffed, my handwriting while cuffed would be worse!). Does yours do that, too?

Yes, you can export and it will convert, but still let you edit the type.

I just downloaded the budget app, thanks @cheekygirl75 !

My current obsession is trying to perfect my ranch dressing recipe. My former ranch-loving children won't eat it anymore because they're getting sick of it, lol

For the last 2 years it's been my funny panty/thong collection.
I don't even wear anything in the summer months. But now I have all the special occasions.

The sound of the pages turning in my book journal. The crinkle noise it’s making do to the inked pages. What a great sound.

Yes all KINDS of things. Speaking to your budget I just made a Pages document, made from scratch, nothing auto generated for me where I put the dates of every pay period through the end of 2027 showing every dollar I would earn and how I would pay off all my bills. It also accounts for some left over money each check to get by, and money that needs to go into a joint account. It also takes into account for big bills like property tax, insurance, and auto registration renewals. This way I know a very accurate date of when everything will be paid off.

I go down many rabbit holes wanting to learn about things, research strange stuff most would never hear about.

I wonder if these are Cancer traits, or it's going into spectrum things?

I have a mutual obsession with my Chihuahua who is 12 years old...I have 2 dogs, but one isn't really mine, she's my son's dog...

But ever since I was in the hospital in 2020 for a while, my dog 🐶 gets separation anxiety anytime I need to leave...

He's always by my side, he predicts my next move, and I've had him since he was 5weeks!

I'm obsessed with Jokes. The ones that get a groan are my favourites.

A man had three beautiful girlfriends but didn't know which one to marry..

As a test, he decided to give each woman $5,000 to see how they would spend it.

The first girlfriend went out and got herself a complete makeover. She told him, "I spent the money so I could look pretty for you because I love you so much."

The second went shopping and bought the man new golf clubs, an iPad and an 80-inch flatscreen TV. She said, "I bought these gifts for you because I love you so much."

The third woman took the $5,000 and invested it in the stock market, doubled her investment, returned $5,000 to the man and re-invested the rest. She said, "I am investing the rest of the money for our future because I love you so much."

The man thought long and hard about how each of his girlfriends had spent the money, and then he decided to marry the one with the biggest tits.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm obsessed (though, those that know me well would probably say otherwise haha).....But, I am very particular as to how I mow my lawn, the steps I take, the directions I mow and when, etc. I always have to start with picking up sticks in the yard first. Then get all the kids toys moved off the lawn. Then pick up dog poop. Then trim (always trim before mowing so the mow recycles up the trim clippings). Then mow. Always do one lap around the entire edge/border of the yard first and then start my rows. Each time I mow, I change the direction of the cut and then the cycle starts over. First mow of the year starts with vertical rows (if looking from a birds eye view of the yard). Then horizontal. Then diagonal in one direction. The the other diagonal. So every fourth mowing starts again with vertical. Then, grab the backpack blower, blow out the garage and clean up any clippings on the driveway and sidewalk.

Also, I shovel snow in a similar fashion and I love to shovel. And there's only one way to load the dishwasher, the right way! I will re-load and re-arrange the dishwasher if someone else in my house has loaded it in an inefficient way which does not maximize the space.

The teaspoons are shorter than the other utensils, so I only put them in the two shorter compartments of the utensil basket.

And...I move them when my wife puts them in the "wrong" slots. 🫢

Latest soon to be left in the ADHD gutter obsession, colouring books. A friend gave me one a few weeks ago when I was having a hard time, saying it helped her. I've purchased expensive pencils and pens and three more books and I just know I will look at them when they arrive and not bother because I'll have found something else to waste my money on.
