um..im just wondering,since two of my four bad guy characters have retty much been ignored by the other baddies(all pooh of them)i wondered if maybe you can send them off on something else Roza?until they could be popped back into the main storyline.

You went off on your own DT. I thought you already had a side plot going on. I'd love to help you out, but I think my character is tied up at the moment (literally)...
And besides that, there's nothing really important going on. Lady's waiting for the good guys to show up before she pulls up any of the plot things about the mysterious ball and whatnot.
That's why we've all been waiting, and that's why it got frustrating so long.

I don't quite know myself, but from a conversation I had with her the other day... more often she has this whole backstory planned out, which she'll reveal eventuall, and it'll all make sense.
Just wait, she'll be back around midnight.

Backstory. Ba-ha. Elvish tombs and unknown parentage and plot twists by the dozen, I suppose. I dunno. Quite fankly, I still don't know how we're supposed to find the items.

I was told, once, but it hurt my brain. All this racing and sitting on a boat for a month and la-de-da.

Oh, was everyone expecting to have the plot handed to them on a silver platter? I thought that was the whole point rather, that we didn't know all of what was going on.
I mean, technically, your characters shouldn't know anyway...
and I don't know about anyone else, but I've had problems on this board where you tell people what's going to happen, and all of a sudden their characters just "know" for some reason what to do next or where to go, or who to kill.
Rose is the GM, and she knows what she's doing. Wait, listen to her, and try to figure it out for yourself. That's the whole point. It's all a mystery, we're trying to unravel it.

Yep. It's always so nice when things just kind of crop up. But sometimes your character is supposed to know people, or places, of events that happened in the past, la-de-da.

I don't care. I usually forget most of what's told to me in advance by the time it gets to that point, anyway. Heh. Anyway, this is good, you know, now that we're not on the boat.

Oh, and look where the good guys are! In the castle, looking for special items! Who would have bet on that?

I do agree though, it's good to be in the dark sometimes, but I feel like it's a little too much at times. We don't even know stuff that our characters should know. But, I think that's just Rose. She's doing her best. I mean, lol, we haven't asked a thing for her in over a month, and now all of a sudden we're just plowing through it all. I would imagine she needs a day or so to just figure it out.

But to answer your question, I don't think the good guys are supposed to find the heirloom just yet. I think Rose had it planned that the key won't be given until the Ball... cause she had something big planned for the ball. I don't think she'd give it to you just cause you showed up any more than she would have given it to me just cause I showed up. I think she's waiting for something.

Probably, but I don't think it can just 'be found' anyway. She told me you need to find the items in some order because they interact with each otehr in certain ways which is the only way you know what they are, or something.

So we'll probably just end up empty-handed. I guess. I still have no freakin' clue how this crap works. I remember a lot of drooling and blank stares as this stuff was explained to me.

You know, how do you know which (let's use watch) watch it is, in a crate full of exact same watches, in some random place on the world. How do you even know where to look? *shrugs*

Rose has a plan. But I can't follow it. All I know is, it sounds crazy enough to work.
