Ok it's Xmas Eve so I'm going to reply but I'm going to do it here.

I was a "Holiday Newbie," when I started. I just realized I missed my Lit anniversary, December 20th. But I didn't start posting in the "fun" side of Lit (outside the Author's Hangout) until the last day of February.The holiday newbies are always an interesting breed.
So I suppose that makes me an interesting breed. At least I am interesting...

Assuming people are posting in good faith doesn't mean you're gullible.
Most of the time I just ignore that kind of message and move on but as he kept posting I felt the need to address it.
Usually a spammer like that is playing the numbers game. Write to lots of people at the same time and hope something sticks. It's annoying as fuck but maybe it works. Who knows.
