Rambling Rosie's Retreat

Every so often...I hear a song that cuts a little too deep. There are many out there...some with different topics...some with the same. But we always remember that first one. The first of everything is remembered.

Early one morning...the sun was shining
I was lying in bed
Wondering if she changed it all
If her hair was still red.

Holy fuck. Even today...I can close my eyes and see her...wondering...what if. Everytime I hear this song...original...or cover...it is her I think of. That...makes it belong here...cause she still haunts my dreams

I don't like Dylan that much, but Blood on the Tracks is one of those albums that deserve the recognition. And KT...made it hers here. Kept the rambling Dylan sought...but she expanded the longing.

Thank you for sharing that here.
I do like KT Tunstall very much. Black Horse and the Cherry Tree is one of her best

I agree....I just like when someone makes an old song theirs...slight change of tempo...different use of buildup and dynamics...and I think it is a key higher...but I could be wrong on that one. Glad you enjoyed

Edit...nope...same key
