Hi and welcome to my first thread

I absolutely love the fun and fast paced chat threads and I also love the big topic threads too but sometimes I'm not really up for either and I find myself wandering around aimlessly.

I thought I'd create my own little space where I can keep a slower pace but hopefully still have fun. Where I can be quieter and share the nonsense in my head and what I'm up to.

I had never heard of these challenges but this weekend a friend mentioned this with respect to the Little Drummer Boy. And today I see your thread with it being discussed! He was hoping that we’d make it through the mall without hearing it. I offered to talk loudly or sing another song if the Little Drummer Boy came on but apparently that doesn’t count haha
Thankfully they did not play it!

I've already sorted the boys main gift - it's waiting at my parents house where we'll be on the big day. As far as he knows though I haven't bought anything yet. It's the first year without Santa but I still want to create that feeling of anticipation and wonder and magic for him.

I do thrive on a deadline though haha so I know I'll be able to get sorted.
