Gin time is one of my favorite times of the day. Current bottle is Tanqueray No. 10. I didn't know you were a gin drinker too, Rosie. Happy to see this thread back at the top of my "watch" list.

I'm liking the Opihr oriental spiced one atm.. good price too

I've been eyeing the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. I know it's supposed to have oriental botanicals as well. Have you tried it? If so, how would you compare it to the Opihr? Looks like it might be tough to find the Opihr here in Chicago. But I'm intrigued.

Good morning fellow rambles. I've tried a few gins of late, but none of them do it for me. Sticking to my 10yr old Bushmills or a really peaty Ardbeg, tastes a little like TCP, only nicer.

TCP is a really strong smelling antiseptic that has been given this very appropriate nickname haha
I honestly have no idea if it's universal but that's what I've always called it

I've never heard this before so thank you so much for sharing it here.

I thought of Rambling Rosie from reading Rose Madder as that's what her husband always called her - or just Rose maybe, can't remember - though knowing how big a music fan King is I suspect this song is the reason for it.

I never researched that, but I enjoy the Dead when I'm tinkering on something or just dancing around. Best show I have ever been to and met some pretty awesome folks there too.
