Stewart Lee is so perceptive. His humour is subtle and very clever. Not for those who want a quick laugh definitelyAh.
I watched a few.
I really like Stewart Lee - the three act structure of his stand up is top tier writing and it's something many miss.
I had the same with grumpy Milton jonesHaven't been to a stand up show in ages. I used to go to a comedy night once a fortnight way back when and even if it was just absolute amateurs it was always a fun night.
They did manage to book Tim Vine one time and I thought I was gonna pass out because he's so rapid fire there was no chance to catch a breath between jokes

I nearly died.Milton Jones is hilarious.
I saw him back in the 90's at the Newcastle Comedy Festival. Craig Charles was there another night tooI saw Ardal O'Hanlon (father Dougal) a little while back, a bit quaint and gentle but very funny
love father Dougal (Father Ted generally).I saw Ardal O'Hanlon (father Dougal) a little while back, a bit quaint and gentle but very funny
I haven't.Back to the stand up posts; has anyone seen Al Murray live?
I haven't seen him live as either, but watched a lot of his stuff on youtube.....No, I haven't. Are you seeing him as him or as pub landlord?
He's supposed to be very funny.
