My boiler is fucked. Spent £700 allegedly having it repaired last week.

So no heat or hot water again here

That's so shit. What rubbish timing too

I don’t like the house too warm so hot water bottles and those microwavable warm things are so handy. But yeah, who wants to get out of bed!!

There's something about a chilly room and a cosy bed that makes for an excellent night's sleep I think

I usually keep my heat on at a lower temp, but I've got my fan on all year round. I sleep better in cool air. And that remote to turn the fan off helps!

Oh I bet living in the heat all year round.

I got new heating installed last year and I'm not allowed to turn it off but I can set it so I just have hot water and the heating won't click on. It's actually working out cheaper too

I haven't always lived in the desert.
It was cold in Germany both times I lived there, but Michigan was worse!

Agree! Clocks go back at the weekend so at least it'll be lighter in the morning. Gonna start to get dark really early evening though from then on. Hibernation time!
