Have you read the ones she has been re releasing over the years that she wrote under another name? Those are good too..Admittedly not as funny as the Plum series but still give you a good giggle

I have, and like you said, not as keen as the Plum series, but they are good fun. But reading the Plum series...always draws me straight in because she writes them so very very well. I'm thinking about getting me a Rangeman shirt from her site in the winter. :D

I agree that the Plum series sucks you in and it is so hard to lay the book down...she does write them wonderfully..I have tried the last two books to name them but no luck yet..LOL....I have thought about getting a Rangeman and Morelli stuff from her site but have not yet..
 
I'm reading the new Melanie Jackson. It's ok so far. A bit too much introspection.

Fury, I'm not kidding. You should check out Melanie Jackson, I really think you'd like her. Her characters generally have a lot of introspection, like the characters in laurel k hamilton books and jacqueline carey books.

For the train journey on Monday I have: Osama - The Making of a Terrorist by Jonathan Randal to read. Interesting stuff.

It is, but I enjoy these types of books. I'm working on my thesis for terrorism/ counter terrorism, so these books are a core staple of my reading diet. It's a good job I enjoy them lol

LOL That was one of the things my bank manager asked me when I went to get him to bankroll my financing for school...we had a 20 minute conversation about 24, so yes, I do watch the show. :rose:

And ohh, Kaykat, just finished it. Not one of my faves in the series (not enough Ranger) but still a killer.:D

I got it ordered so hopefully I will have it by the end of the week...I can't wait to read it..Hate that Ranger wasn't in there enough......
 
The Autumn Castle by Kim Wilkins turned out to be quite a good read for me. I am not into fairy books very much but this was well written and compelling.

I've been watching it for the first time. It's been an interesting ride of a show.

The story is dark so far...The cover is cute and that is what drew me in..I bought this book at a yardsale for a quarter..

It is okay so far but I am already seeing what is going on and it is sad...
