Reading Books For Pleasure

Kewl!

I love great and beautiful buildings but I love books more. Anywhere with enough books I'm happy.

Throw in a coffee and I'm double happy.

LOL!

:rose:

The smell of old books too! I'll have a nice cup of tea being from the other side of the pond n all

So I finished Sleeping with the Fishes by Mary Janice Davidson. I like her vamp series MUCH better but it was fluff that got me out of a bad mood from reading two books I didn't like. I may even read another one in the series at some point. I felt the character of Fred was underdeveloped. That rankled a bit.

I have now started The Becoming by Jeanne C. Stein. It seems like it will be good.

Meanwhile, looking at my stack by the bed and noticing there are only three books there has me worried. I need to research and put some books on hold ASAP! I don't want to run out!

I've heard a lot of good things about Jeanne C. Stein. You'll have to let me know what you think when you get to the end:rose:

I'm still reading Lora Leigh's Killer Secrets. This was supposed to be the most steamy book for BDSM, but I'm finding it a little dull to be honest.

Janet Evanovich's Fearless Fourteen comes out tomorrow..I can not wait..I told mom to get it for me for my birthday so she is going to!

That's good too!

Plus, a buddy to talk about books with and I'm over the moon!

:D
Sorry for a bit of hijack here, but...

I'm not really into books that much, but I'm into you, so I think I'll just have to kidnap you, take you to a library and have you do my bidding. I'm assuming the smell of old books will keep you occupied, then I'll overpower you and tie you up.

I'll take you back into an area where there are lots of old books and slowly strip your clothes off, telling you what's in store for you. I'm gambling that the smells and the story will have you so involved that even if you didn't want it to happen, you'd just allow it and not resist too much. Not that I couldn't overpower you, but I'd prefer to save my energy for after your tied up.:D

Oh, and we won't be doing a lot of talking...at least you won't. It's not that easy with a gag in your mouth...or my cock, which ever I fancy at the moment. I'll do my best to send you over the moon.

Sure, I'll be your buddy and we can relax a bit after I'm finished with you, drink some coffee and talk. But, keep in mind, the longer we sit there talking, the more inclined I'll be to take you, again. You know...when you have a good thing going, why stop?

OK, sorry for the hijack, but you were talking about things you enjoyed about books and libraries and they paralleled my thoughts about you. One of these days, lady...one of these days.

I really enjoyed The Becoming by Jeanne C. Stein. I will be checking my library catalog today for sequels.

I've started Autumn Castle by Kim Wilk. I'm not at all sure about this book yet. I'm going to give it three chapters and then decide.

I am looking forward to it too but I can wait. I like to wait and savor the good ones. Generally I keep a list of new releases my mouth is watering over for trips like the beach. Then I get them at the library when they no longer have a million holds on them and take a box of books to the beach. Ahhhh!

And about mouth watering, ummm, Ranger!

Wow!

That was completely unexpected. Of course you know I like the way you think. :D

If I were your prisoner would you let me read, some of the time? That's the question.

I actually ran away from home in High School because, get this, my parents told me I couldn't read for pleasure anymore.
