hey all....me and the hubby have been away for awhile....looking for a new home and all....here's our dilemma....as some of you know we have been having potty training issues with our 4yo....well we are finally seeing the end of the tunnel(I HOPE)....unfortunatly we are left with this foul old funky stench in the carpet in his bedroom....we know that he had a couple of accidents in there....we have carpet cleaned the room twice....tried baking soda, febreeze, odorcide, lysol, etc. etc......nothing seems to make a very strong dent in the stench....any help is appreciated as usual....5PHF....

this may not help but try spraying the room with alot of airfreshener than sealing up the room. it doesnt hurt to try.

you're going to have to replace your carpeting.

sealing up the room is a bad idea. you want it to air out as much as possible. keep the windows open and run a fan.

I dealt with this a little while back...I'll try to find the link. For me, it was a mattress problem...

I found that vinegar worked like a charm to get rid of the funky odor the ammonia caused.

Short of carpet replacement, of heard of probably 80% success rate from my Veterinarian friends for this stuff:

Check at your local Vet clinic first and see if they have it on hand and maybe it will be cheaper than online?
