Ropework photos

: sniffles : One would think Mr Homburg, that with all the macramé availing itself in this thread , one might find a nice hammock strung up somewhere for one's precious self to recuperate from the modern equivalent of the Black Plague. The collars Mr Homburg are exquisite , I had a small lurk yesterday, think they top my favorites for craftsmanship and providence ever.

Hmm, a hammock could be an interesting project...

(This is where viv wanders downstairs and smacks me on the top of the head for coming up with yet another insane line-based project.) (And thank you for your compliments, miss rebecca.)

The ravages of said dalliance with the Black Plague not yet a memory and I do not recall either Dominant nor sadist ( combined = winner ) that has put me through worse over such an extended time frame. You pussies ! OMG did I just call ALL dominants with the potential to read this, pussies ( waves to DVS, EG, Mr Masters ,Mr Midwestyankee, Sir Winston, Netz, Mr Fung, Mr Mohegan, Shankara, Mr Noir .........never ever make a list again) oops. I must have another fever.

*snort* *choke*

:D:devil::D

Now I'm coughing :D

Ohhh protect me Mr Homburg : flails about though kind of superb :

Certainly, lady rebecca. No hand raised against you will propser. ;)

Are you putting up the link for voting for the Bondage Awards ?

You there. All of you. Head to The Bondage Awards and nominate some of the wonderful people in the rope community for some recognition. Folks like lochai, Jimi Tatu, Midori, Greydancer, Esinem, Lew Rubens, the Two Knotty Boys, etc, and all those lovely rope bunny models that we so enjoy looking at such as Madison, Claire Adams, Asagi Agehi (spelled that wrong, but she's hothothot), Kumimonster!, etc.

Phew and thank Heavens Mr Homburg, because when I recover from something as serious as this I get very very very excited by life again, shall we say exuberant , which tends to lend towards bratting of previously unrequited proportions. Bet you can't wait.

Ahuh

I do not mind. I have loving, tender ways of correcting the errant bratting episodes.

*snort*

I see someone turn on the Bratgirl sign, and ITW has arrived to save the city.

Wheeee. Just bored and operating on less than healthy amounts of sleep. But not ready to crash yet. So I'm crashing the Ropework thread. Look out!

I am basically always operating on less than healthy amounts of sleep. It's endemic.

Interesting story =)

Well, my continued interest in weaving and macrame has produced another collar/choker.

This one was interesting, and was inspired by a conversation with a friend. Were I to do it again, I would add more length. Literally a few more inches would've helped, as it would've allowed me to backweave the leads into the body. I would also NOT use rayon for the cord. Feels nice, but is a pain in the ass to work with. It's bloody slippery

The buckle is neat, and decorative. Slipping a lock through the center makes it secure. My preference for this would be to weave it long and simply tie it in the back. Some people want more security, thus the buckle/clasp. I could also see doing this with a smaller cord as a decorative choker. As some beads or stones, and you could have a very pretty piece.

Enjoy. And, yes, I will be doign at least one more.

Looking into a can of old buttons and belt buckles my mom always collected from our clothes as we outgrew them (and having no clue why i have the can, because i dont sew very often) i have a belt buckle that looks like that one.

Uncle Hommie, how much would You charge to make the top one for me; if i sent You the buckle?

Pwetty pwease?

Sure, PM me. I'll need to discuss some details with you and get some measurements from you.

Somehow I am not surprised to know that you enjoyed that post. You would have to learn to brat just because, wouldn't you?
maybe
*bats lashes*
but I'm betting that if you ask one or two people who may know, they would tell you I do brat very well.

*looks innocent*
