Ropework photos

Another video on Youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na-Ctrl_6L4

This is Esinem doing a bit of suspension work. The light levels are screwy, so it's tough to see some of the detail. As before, no idea how long this will stay up. Enjoy.
Oh thank you for refering us to the video, I have enjoyed watching. I do agree with you on the lights, Homburg. But I have enjoyed it nevertheless. I liked the "playful banter" at the end of the clip; it does show that rope bondage does not have to be serious at times!

:rose:

Glad you enjoyed it, Caz. As an aside, Esinem is on your side of The Pond, and does classes and demos in England quite a bit. His site is www.esinem.com from what I recall. I've chatted with him on email here and there. He's right knowledgable about rope, and an excellent, and traditional, rigger.

Time for more pimping of other people's work (as I'm not doing much right now :( ). The 2 Knotty Boys have been in the rope game for a good while now, and are great about putting out fantastic, well-done, easy to follow videos. They put these vids on Youtube for free, and passionately fo their best to advance rope-use in thier own way. Good guys. Well, Youtube recently suspended their account (kinda funny, in a way) for no real apparent reason. Dan and JD are scrupulous about keeping to the TOS. After much public outcry, Youtube reinstated it. They did so sans ten excellent vids though.

Dan and JD have hosted those videos and invited folks to download them and enjoy them at thier leisure. They also said the videos could be hosted, shared, etc, with their blessing. Good guys, really. Here is the link:

Decided to do a rope flogger in a similar style to how the Two Knotty Boys showed in a recent video. Turned out well enough.

The rope looks a bit odd as it is home-dyed nylon poly blend. The poly takes very little dye. So the nylon threads are black, while the poly threads are an interesting gold/silver colour. Kind of a neat effect.

Very cool! Floggers are pretty neat (understatement) and I like metallic things. The metallic gold/silver thing makes it look really great.

Thanks. I am actually quite happy with how the rope looks like this. Might be worth dying some more.

This particular flogger is fairly thuddy, but still has some serious sting. It is not a light piece, either in its' effect, or in its' actual weight.

pretty! and ... evil ... :D

I actually really like the color ... as 00Syd it adds a metallic feel that makes it look prettier and nastier all at the same time.

ETA and thanks for the youtube and knottyboys links :)

Thanks for the comments, ladies.

And, wow, I am jonesing to get some rope on some skin. Schedules have not been kind to me the past coupla days.

Homburg, I would be more than willing to offer myself to you...but unless you have had that transporter fixed, unfortunately, it is not happening! :(

If I had that transporter fixed, scheduling would be an altogether different sort of concern =P

This came up in discussion with a friend last night. The are too many interesting people that have expressed willingness, but they're all in such far-flung places. I need to get a job that has more travel. =P

Worldwide would be the best.... :cattail:

Oh WoW, Esinem is fantastic! Fast too! I noticed how he was constantly checking her condition even while working that quickly.
I love the way she kicked at him and struggled at the end there. Now I will be searching YouTube all night for that stuff...ty Homberg!

If you go back a page or three, you will find a link to Osada Steve doing a tie. If the link is still good, it's stunning. Osada Steve is awesome, and his model (whose name I won't try to spell), is likewise a stunner. Lots of great energy between them.

Darn! It was deemed inappropriate and removed. Sorry I missed it. However, this is a great thread and I am catching up. Errrrr all caught up in it.

I've figured out how to download videos from Youtube. If it pops up again, I'm totally going to save it. I'll also warn people on here.

Thanks for the compliments on the thread =)
