Runners unite?

Over the last two weeks I ran my first half-marathon, and ran in the self proclaimed world's toughest 10k. I have never run so much in my life. Let alone raced so much.

I have to admit part of what kept me going when the run got tough was fantasizing about the women who were still in front of me.

Where is the worlds's toughest 10k?

Yawn....I love running, but this thread has been pretty wholesome for an "erotica" site.

I'm a dirty runner, too -- positively filthy at times. I always shower before I post on here, though. :)
.

Ran in the Sierras this weekend. (I was a very dirty girl!) I also bought new shoes. Has anyone heard of or tried "Hokas?" I love them, but they were expensive. So worth it. Like running on marshmellows.

my chiro runs a triathlon store besides his bone-crushing. he has some of those and loves them

Hello Runners. Hokas? I'm not familiar with them. I looked it up and the pictures make the shoes look really, really tall. So I imagine they would be soft, but that almost goes against the near barefoot, low profile trend that is popular lately. I myself like well-cushioned shoes, like nice soft titties--to gently brace my impact... :D Ah, didn't someone complain that this thread was too wholesome? Anyway, I don't run as much as I use to, nor do I get as much titty (see the correlation). So perhaps I can do without as much of that cushion, unless I start getting more... mileage.

Woohoo! After the frustration of an enforced two-week layoff, I've hit the track and ground hard again, with a competitive 100m race yesterday and 5km today. It's good to be back. :D

June 4 was National Running Day (in the USA) and no one posted any running activity? Shameful. Runners, we need to balance our sex life and not forget to put in some miles every once in a while. ;)

I was too tired after my 20 miler to post anything. 90 degrees with 90% humidity with hills kind of took it out of me!

a friend of mine from high school said that sex was his miles, he just got them six inches at a time...

i don't run. i can't run. but i can take my dogs for walks, and recently one hurt his foot. so nobody's been walking, everyone is ornery. and i can really feel the need to put in some lower-speed miles, so your comment about balance couldn't be more true. prolly in more ways than one...

I seem to be a little more healthy and uninjured. I'm back at a basic level of fitness again, 6 easy-medium miles is not too difficult. I hope to target some track races in July, that's my goal for now. Unfortunately, I'm doing way too much of my running at the gym on a treadmill. It is easy for me since I can go anytime after work, but really, I need to hit the streets, trails, hills, and the track much more often.

Does anyone else notice that they get achy joints from not running? That always happens to me. I get really busy with work or life and it feels like my legs are literally aching to run. I have it right now, but I am working.

I find if I run too much it's my shins that hurt the most. I think it is caused by how heavy footed I am.
The hardest thing for me to do is running after leg day at the gym. Nothing aches worse than that

Yay!!! Thank you for getting this thread back on track, lol.

I guess it is because I am a trail runner, but I am a dirty girl.

Trail running is so much more fun than running around town... If I had the time to only run the hills around here I would for sure.. Sadly there are times when my time is limited so I have to reduce myself to running in my neighborhood.... Lame

That's why people say they are itching to run...

Not sure if I've posted on this thread before, to move away from the wholesomeness, a friend once told me that his way of avoiding flagging on a run, find a nice arse and follow it. Probably works best when on organised half marathons and full marathons, than just when out jogging in the park....

Made another "6 miler" run on the gym treadmill. It's funny how my pace seems to picks up when two ladies are walking and jogging on both sides of me.

PRed a ten miler today! 1:34:17. Shaved over 2 min off my time.. Pretty good given my training has been awful lately

Donna, I too have been known to run a bit up in the sierra's, though I am not a true trail runner. As far as being dirty, I think I have made my way through most women in the local running community. Not necessarily a good thing though.

Good tip!

I'm training for my first 10k next month, so will probably use that when I hit the wall

Not sure how the thread has been wholesome - running is all Lycra and endorphins so surely plenty of horny people!
