Sad News.....

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Always a sweet guy. Rest in peace.

I exchanged some PM's with John and got to know him a little. He was a sweet and gentle soul and I will miss seeing him here and receiving his always tender words.

I shall miss and remember you always John...:rose:

I will always remember the compassion and support your PMs gave me! You always managed to make me smile when I was feeling my worst. You were a true friend in thought and deed, John. I will always remember you! :rose:

I am speechless. He was so lovely the couple times I had contact with him. I just don't know what to say.
God Bless and keep him and his loved ones. :rose::rose::rose::rose::rose::rose:

Completely and utterly shocked...

He was such a cool guy with a good and kind heart...my prayers are with his family...he will be missed.

I've had such a hard time dealing with this news all day today. :(

What can I possibly say that hasn't been mentioned over & over by so many.
No matter what troubles he went through, he was the most positive & supportive person I ever knew.
There for so many of us over the years with those special little PMs to encourage us & keep us going.
The world & Lit will be a far, far darker place without your light in it my friend. :rose:

So sorry to hear of this. He was quite a gentleman and well respected here. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I was stunned when I got the news about John today.
There's nothing I can say that has not already been said about John. What a sweet, caring, genuinely kind man he was.
I will miss his hugs and :kiss:es he would leave in his posts.
I will think of him often and whenever a Ford gets the pole at a race, I will smile for John.

John,.......wherever you are rest in peace our paths have crossed many times and you still are a true Gent, Rest in Peace and out of respect this thread will become a highway :rose:

My friend and Bro', I'm going to miss you and the joy of seeing and talking to you. You exemplified what a gentleman is and always acted accordingly and I took pleasure in knowing you. Your last PM to me said you had finally found the love you had been seeking and leaving the troubled life you had behind. Fate has played an under-handed deal with you and it hurts deeply to know you had finally met that right person and now you are denied the chance to enjoy it with her.

To all of those you left behind, I can only offer my condolences and share in their sadness, as my heart is cut by this news. In spiritus unum, I always remember you John. May your soul soar.

May peace be with those he left behind. John was truly the gentle man of Lit. Always, as others have said, a hug and kind word for everyone just at the time it was needed. I will miss his kindness, gentleness, sweetness and calmness that he brought to the boards and to those he touched.

He will be missed.

I had only posted with him a few times on the threads. Everyone always said how sweet a man he was. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

A couple years back, some of us ladies here on Lit got an email from the "son" of a Litster, telling us of his father's passing. Long story short, it was actually from said Litster who was very much alive. What a sick, cruel joke to play. Since then, I've been skeptical when I hear of a Litster dying. There was none of that when I got the message on Facebook about John's passing. I think that speaks of the calibur of man that John was.

After reading all the kind and true words about John in this thread, it saddens me even more that he didn't reach out to us in some way. There is a huge void here on Lit now.

RIP My Friend.
:rose::kiss::rose:

John....I didn't know you....but rest in peace. This place can be fractious at times, it's nice to see those who touch others remembered.

I remember dueling with him in some of the game threads; he visited my thread on occasion.

To his family and friends: I'm sorry for your loss.

Rest in peace, good sir. :rose:

Tomorrow (Saturday) would have been John's birthday. How he'd have loved me teasing him about his being older than me, and how he'd have gotten all flustered and fun.

I know his hurts are no more, and his heart and spirit are now free. I think tomorrow will be a day I think of him just a bit more, and do it with a smile.

i just found out that frdrcnjohn passed away earlier this month. he was a very kind man who truly cared about others and went out of his way to spread sunshine and happiness.

i will miss his posts and his pm's. i hope he has moved on to a better place.

Ahh, I'm sorry to hear that, AS2U, I didn't know him well, but he seemed like a very pleasant man..
