Saving the Don's Daughter

Terra shrugged his shoulders, not caring too much about the tiny problems that may arise from here until there. It didn't seem like they would have any hard and set plan, but more rather a guideline to go on. This kind of delicate situation called for a loose enough plan that had plenty of room for improvisation. Gangsters with guns were anything but predictable.
Besides, Terra wasn't a subtle guy. Well, when the situation absolutely called for it, he could be. He supposed that if a gun were put to a bull's head, he could wander around a china shop and not so much as tip over a teacup.
Still, if they were subtle, that would trigger professionalism. Terra didn't like that. He wanted this to look like an amateur job. Some lucky Joe Fuck bought by Alvarez to come and find his daughter. He had terrible thoughts of what the Mirazoli's would do if they found out just how much professionalists were coming after him.
Terra knew that when men panicked, they made stupid mistakes.
A stupid mistake was the last thing they needed right now.
Still, it wasn't his money, it was Cara's... and along that same line, Ty's. He wasn't paid to tell his opinions and spout off what might or might happen.
He was paid to kill people.
So, Terra sat back, with these thoughts to himself, smiled, nodded, and got ready to kill people.

Cara

I answered on the second ring, making sure there was enough for the house's tracking device to catch the call.
"Hi sweete."
"Oh, good evening my lovely. Where have you been? Or rather not been might be an easier question?"
I excused myself from Amara and Felix to take the call elsewhere, plopping down on a large comfy chair. "What's up kitten?"

Ty Lei

Were at a hotel about an hour or so away. Were talking over a strategy for tomorrow.

::She leaned up against the wall and slid down to the floor sitting on her rear as she talked.::

It should be a piece of cake mission, hon. And I promise that I'll be safe...I dont know what Terra thinks about my plan, but I have the feeling he thinks because you are in charge Im in charge here...Not sure if that is a good thing.

::a piece of clothing started to bother her so she started adjusting it::

So what have you found out or come across about the girl?

Felix

Felix nodded politely to the two women. "If you do not mind, I will go start the van. I think it would be the less conspicious of the vehicles that are here. Plus a would have access to some of my things if an emergency arises. Don't worry about the harshness of a van, I have modified the inside tomake it very comfortable. Sometimes I live out of my van when I am on missions."

Cara

I nodded to Felix. "I'll be out in a few moments."
I turned my attention back to the phone as I sat down and pulled up a computer from the desk. I checked into my messages as I talked to Ty.
"Nope, haveing found the girl yet- wait a message for the psychic. Oh dear- she's been approched by an outside factioin about this job. Bastards. I've sent her a memo back telling her she can relocate to our house if need be."
I sighed. "You going to be home tonight, kitten?"

OOC: I'm sorry everyone but I've a 5-10 day TDY starting Tuesday morning so probably won't be posting much during that time period. We can either hold off on posting till I get back or you can march ahead without me, whichever you prefer.

Letisha

My computer beeped at me. I glanced down and saw an incoming note from Cara. With shaking hands, I opened it and read her words. My thoughts were beyond garbled at this point but staying with her until after Ms. Alvarez was rescued sounded like a great idea.

It was while I was throwing some clothing into a bag that a vision of the girl hit me.

She is alone, in a room dark and dank. Outside, there is the sound of water. She is wearing some sort of plain blue jumper. Her face looks haggard..as if she has went without food or sleep for quite some time.

She walks to the far wall and puts her hands against it, as someone else enters. He laughs at her, but the sound of water is louder. The man is dark skinned and dark eyed. Exceedingly Italian in his well kept, well pressed silk suit. She whimpers his name..Marco. There is a flash of pain..of terror and then blackness.

As I shook off the effects of the vision, it hit me. I knew where she was. They had taken her outside of the city's limits to the old estate of Mr. Mirazoli, now the new home of his top henchman. I would not have looked there any time soon. After all, we were figuring she was still in town.

I finished packing and left. Was no point in prolonging this. I was going to Cara's right now...we could work on the rest when I got there.

Ty Lei

::She thought about it for a moment, though it would be good for her to stay here with Terra in the hotel so they could leave ASAp in the morning to get their plan moving, for some reason she was drawn to return home.

Now that they knew that Cara was using a psychic, they would be lokking for them. Ty would feel responcible if something happened to Cara while she was gone. The decision ate at her as she spoke.::

Is the psychic coming to the house to stay or not?....She is...Well then I cant miss out on a slumber party can I? Please send a car for me hun...I dont want Terra to have to drive there and back since he is settled in...I'll go let him know what is going on....Ok Love Ya Bubbye...

::She clicked off the phone and grabbed her bag returning to the other room::

The psychic is coming to me and Cara's house...Something is up and I'm going to go home. A car is coming for me so you dont have to leave...What time will you be there to pick me up in the morning so we can go play?

Terra made a few notes, thinking it over in his head. The track itself opened up at ten in the morning, but none of their guys would be there when it opened. They usually got in during the afternoon.
"Noon," He said, making another note. She thought this was going to be easy, did she? Well, no problem with that. If she wanted to think that, she had her right. Ignorance is bliss, as they say, and she had such a pretty smile on her face.
He didn't want to slap that away anytime soon.
"See ya."

Felix

Felix went out to his van. He started the motor up as he waited for Cara to come out. He wondered if Amara was coming with them. He was also a little concerned since Stephan had not shown yet. He was supposed to meet them tonight. Felix hopeed nothing had happened to the man.

Ty Lei

::The car that she had asked for soon arrived to the hotel, and Ty bid Terra farewell until the next day, then entered the car and watched out the window as it turned for home.::

Letisha

Letisha wasted NO time getting in her car and leaving her humble apartment behind. After this job, she was definately moving someplace with better friggin security!!

She pulled up to Cara's place about 20 minutes later. Her nerves were, once again, under control and she felt a bit easier. She got out of her car and grabbed her knabsack and overnight bag before locking it up.

She noticed Felix's van...long before she ever actually noticed him.
He had a knack for complete stillness. With a wave of greeting, she walked to the door and knocked. Cara answered soon enough and beckoned her inside, before flashing a *wait a minute* sign in the direction of the van.

"Look, I am on my way out. Ty is on her way home. Make yourself comfortable."

Cara then grabbed a phone and dialed some numbers, looking a bit put out. Letisha assumed someone else was supposed to be here and had not shown up yet. Cara's words on the phone proved that assumption.

Ty Lei

::The car pulled up beside Felix's van, and she got out and retrieved her bag then walked past the van looking for some sign of felix she she could greet him. A wave of greeting, then she went into the mansion seeing Cara on the phone she decided not to bother her accept for a soft kiss on the cheek, then she walked into the hall and saw Letisha.::

Are you alright sweetie? Cara told me that you were contacted by one of the families... Here let me show you where your room will be...

Felix

Felix put his hand back down. First Letisha had come back to the mansion. Now Ty had come back too. What the heck was going on ? Did this have something to do with Stephan not being here yet? Felix was worried that something may have happened to wreck their plans. Looking for some soothing tones, Felix cranked up the stereo with "Kill 'em all" by Metallica.

Cara

You look away from things for just a moment and the shit hit the fan. Thank the Lady and Consort for Ty, I thought as I got everyone settled where they were going, growling into Stephan's answering machine the whole time.
I left Latisha with Ty- nothing would get past her in this house. Lady Amara well... we'd deal with the UnSeelie court on the morrow. Hoped my mirror was big enough. Oh well.
I headed out to the van, my kit bag in place, armed to the nines. I explained to Felix how the psycic had a vauge idea where the girl was- a mansion off of the coast, owned by a relatively new potatoe on the Mirazoli side of things.
"So we're going to get captain numbnuts from the game tonight, bring him here, interogate him, plan for the girl's retrieval and go from there. Sound good?"

Felix

Felix smiled as Cara sat down in the van. "That sounds fine to me. I think that is a workable plan. Here take this. " Felix hands her a cell phone. "I programmed Stephans number in here so you can keep trying him. If nothing else, maybe he can meet us at the game. " Felix turned off the stereo as he drove the van towards the game.

Cara

"Thanks Felix," I said graciously, trying to raise Stephan again on the cell phone. I glared furiously at it before closing it again. "Don't know where he is and there had better be some great reasoning behind this or I'm going to cut his pay. Hell, even Lady Amara's managed to clue me in on something important. Though why that bitch wants anything to do with me now I don't know. Least Amara gave me a head's up on it. One doesn't mess with the Queen of Air and Darkness lightly."

Letisha

Ty led me to a sumptious room on the second floor, done mostly in deep pinks and cream. I dropped my things on the bed and then followed her back down, my mind in a constant state of flux.

After Cara hung up the phone, I told her about my vision and the idea that the girl was there..probably in a basement or something. I gave her a rough outline of what I had seen and left it in her hands.

Cara thanked me and then headed out, her mind obviously going over the information I had provided. I then turned to Ty and asked her if I could get something to eat. Visions take alot of energy and I felt as if I were running on empty.

Ty smiled and led the way to a well stocked kitchen and spoke softly to me..her accent making me smile. I felt good. Not worried so much. I ate an apple and grabbed some spring water. Things were well.

Now to let the professionals do their jobs.

Amara had silently made her exit as the others had begun to arrive, her presence was no longer needed at this time and she felt that she would be of greater use to the cause elsewhere.
Queen Andais may have unintentionally revealed more than she had actually intended to, and she planned on using that to her advantage...so she headed to the place that while no one would have expected her to go, would suprisingly be one of the places she would be able to acquire the most information.

No one kept up on Unseelie gossip as the members of the Seelie court did.

She headed home briefly to change into something more suitable, favoring a pale blue slipdress with a plunging neckline, spagetti straps and a low back that grazed the small of her back.
She pulled her waist length white blond hair half up in a series of twists, braids and knots littered with diamonds while letting the rest flow freely.
A five carat emerald cut pendant hung on a long silver snake chain nestled between her breasts.
Appearance was a key factor to success within both the fae courts, though in the Seelie Court especially.

She arrived at Elysium an exclusive club frequented by the rich, powerful and beautiful people that were either Seelie fae themselves...or wanted to be close to it.
The King of Light and Illusion had spared no expense to make this a glorious home away from home for his people.
And while most Unseelie fae were unwelcome in this and all other Seelie establishment, Amara had long ago established herself as a respected member of the fae community and found herself welcome at either court.

Upon entering she was immediately taken upstairs to the main office where Tobais, the propietor of the establishment in the King's absence awaited her arrival.
"Amara'than Aine....greetings and welcome, you have long been away from the shining court. To what do we owe the pleasure of this meeting?"
"Tobais, that name is no longer allowed to be uttered anywhere where the the Queen of Air and Darkness may hear it, and as her ears are everywhere so that name must never pass yours, nor anyone else's lips again."
He bowed deeply, "I am truly sorry my Lady, I have no desire to anger your Queen so I shall refrain from using your true glorious name. Though I shall repeat the offer that my lord King has offered for some time, come to the Shining Court and your name of old shall be restored to you."
Amara only shook her head, "The Unseelie Court is my home, it is where I belong and I shall do what my Queen wishes if it will bring her happiness....But that is no matter, I have come Tobais for information that I hope you or some of your patrons may be able to provide..."
"Tell me what you seek my Lady and I shall have it done."
"I need information about a kidnapping, and perhaps why my Queen would have any sort of interest in such a thing...."

Ty Lei

::After showing Letisha to the kitchen, she had decided to grab a bit to eat herself, and as she made a small bowl of rice and took out some sushi she tried to make some small conversation::

It should be safe here from the families. Usually noone botheres us here. I guess Cara is so well known in the bouty hunting field that everyone resects her space....

::She giggled softly, then added::

Not to mentions the rumors that were tossed about the last time someone tried to break in.

::An innocent smile appeared on her face as she grabbed some chopsticks and started eating her food::

I guess Cara and felix are off to do their part of the work tonight. Terra and I are going out tomorrow to stir things up a bit. Hopefully we can get an exqact location for the girl.

Felix

Felix drives the van towards the ballpark. He pulls on a cap as they reach the side gate. He pulls out an ID that he shows to the guard at the gate. The guard smiles at Felix as he gives it back. "I think you are a little late. The rest of the groundscrew was here almost an hour ago. You will have to see your supervisor since I would imagine he is pissed. "

Felix smirked back at the man. "Do not worry on my account my friend. I had to pick up supplies in the van that is why I am late. The sup will be happy that I was able to bring them. " Felix waved as they drove through the gate. After parking the van in the employee parking, Felix opened the door for cara. "Here is you ID. The picture did not come out very good, but then again it was tough to get your picture without you knowing. And you may want to wear this cap. It will avoid a lot of questions. "

After handing her the cap and ID, Felix reached into the van and pulled on some dirty coveralls. Clods of fresh dirt fell of them as he put them on. "You can never be too careful on these jobs. It pays to be in full costume. Let's get going." Felix led her into the bowels of the stadium.

Cara

I looked at the ID- a bit blurry and my hair looked darker. I smiled at Felix and let my glamor hide my bright crimson hair, dim my tricolored eyes into a solid everyday blue, and tan my skin to a normal human tan.
"Will this work?"
I hopped out of the van and followed Felix, looking for all the world like some teenage groupie following an insider who'd get her close to the stars. I laughed inwardly at the image but kept it up. There was almost no security at this level and what little there was, Felix and I brushed past with a sickening ease. If I was the security manager of this place, I'd be embarrassed, I thought with a shudder.

Felix

Felix walked quickly down the tunnel. They came to the end , the light from the setting sun blazing on the edges of the stadium. They were lucky and had been able to avoid any of the other groundskeepers. Taking a pair of binoculars out of the bag on his shoulder, Felix looked up to the expensive box seats. He could spy Salvatore Mirazoli sitting up there with some well dressed men. Of course , he stood out like a wart on a supermodel since he was slovenly dressed in dirty jeans and a wretched black t-shirt. Felix turned back to Cara.

"Ok, now we now where he is. Let us get up closer to the box seats where he is located. Fair enough? " Felix waited for an answer.

Cara

"Lets go," I said, ready for action. Planning was fun and all but this, the intrigue, the element of danger, that's why I did what I did. In a way, Sal Mirazoli was just another bounty to be caught and taken hostage. Though this time we'd keep him alive, unlike some of my other jobs. "What's our game plan? We going to smile our way in there and ask him to come play or you want me to play the tramp and luer him out?"

Felix

Felix smiled as he thought of her suggestion. "Well Cara it is up to you. I brought an ushers uniform here in my bag that I could use to lure him out. But your suggestion would probably work better. All men are suseptible to the attentions of beautiful women. He seems to me to be the type to take ego to an extreme. I think you have the right way to go. If you can get him back down to the access tunnel, I will take care of the guard at that entrance. From there I am sure we can subdue him. "

Tobias furrowed his brow, "I had no idea that the Queen of the Dark court had such an interest in mortal matters. However, there may be some here who would be able to help you in your search. Though you may not be thrilled at the idea of his presence..."

She sighed, there was only one member of the Seelie Court that Tobias knew got under her skin....Liam.

"Where is he now?" She asked calmly.
"In the bath house..." he replied slowly, "shall I announce you?"
"No, I don't think that Liam will mind if I disturb him..."

They had been lovers once, her and Liam...long ago and across the sea. He was the decendent of a fertility deity and had no problem drawing women to him. Their love affair had been a scandal, she the advisor to the Queen of Air and Darkness, and he a Lieutenant in the King's service.
His betrayal had hurt her deeply...

She pushed open the mahogany double doors and walked into the steamy bath house. She could see him across the way his long chestnut locks glistening as beads of sweat clung to his broad sunkissed chest.
He was still beautiful...and for a moment she was without words.

He seized that moment, "Amara...its been far too long. What brings you back to my bed?"

He had always been an arrogant son of a bitch.

"Liam, nothing on this earth could bring me back to your bed. The only reason I'm here is because I've heard you have some information I need."

"Do I now?" He smirked, crossing muscled arms over his broad chest. "Tell me Amara, even if I did have the information you seek, why would I give it to you when I have nothing to gain from this meeting?"

"Nothing to gain? You'll gain the knowledge that you may have helped save a young girl's life!" She exclaimed with disbelief. His attitude had gotten even worse over the years....

He moved in close so their bodies were touching and reached up and stroked her cheek...
"You still haven't forgiven me have you...?" He asked softly.

"No."

He leaned in and kissed her forehead, "I'll see what I can do...I'll call my connection, I've been on your bad side long enough...I'd like to see you once and have you smile for me the way you used to..."

He padded over to the chaise lounge, reached into the pocket of his silk robe and pulled out his cell phone...
