Saving the Don's Daughter

Ty Lei

::She finished her tea and nodded at Terra.::

I will return in a few minutes hon, then we can get going.

::She gave Cara a kiss on the cheel and whispered a 'good night sweetheart' into her ear before retiring to her suite to change.

The mission called for a lot of stealth on her part so she quickly took out her black ninjitsu assult attire and slipped it on along with the soft soled boots with the separation in the front.

She quickly lashed her hair back in a ponytail and added what looked lika a black asgot around her throat but was in truth a mask to cover her features upto the bridge of her nose.

Her weapon of choise for this mission was what looked like a bully club carried by law enforcement. Ty however was much more adept and effective at using them than the normal officer would be.

Having dressed and prapaired she returned downstairs and entered the dining room taking up her file on the racetrack once more to study on the way.::

I believe Im ready to go. How long before we reach the racetrack?

::She followed him to the truch and horse cart as they spoke.::

Cara

I waved to Ty as she and Terra left before turning to Latisha.
"You going to be okay or do you need something to help you sleep? Or are you going to even sleep at all? You look shook."

It took them an hour to get across town, down to the racetrack. By the time they were there, the heat of the day had come up, early afternoon, and the track was full of races and betters.
Terra came up to the back, where a single security guard stopped them. After checking the chart, and being handed a few hundred bucks, they were waved through.
Terra parked close to the exit. He didn't quite know if they were going to use this getting back out, or going to go out the front, or maybe in body bags, but he would rather have the option opened to him.
He got out, a duffel bag rattled and chinked together. A few of his weaponry on stock. No one seemed to notice. This was a great place to actually take someone out, he realized. There was a huge crowd here, but they were nothing more than men who loved to gamble.
Men were people who didn't ask too many questions, and gambling men asked even less than that. Although, some did give a few wonderous eyes over to his partner.
That couldn't be helped though.
He looked up at the spectator arene, the skyboxes on the very top.
"We can go through the main arena, we'll get up there soon enough."

Ty Lei

::She nodded in agreeance and tucked her weapon of choice against her back so that the small handle perpendicular to the main shaft was in her belt so that at first glance it would look like a belt.

She kept her mask off while they weaved through the crowds, following Terra as he seemed to part the way as he walked. The readyness for any type of altercation be it physical or mental was settling upon her, but she was ready for most anything when she was in this state of mind.

It was then they ducked into a stable and started to talk of their plans.::

The targets are in the skybox. With the racetrack being this crowded it may be hard to single out guards and get them alone. Hard but not impossible.... What do you think we should do?

Felix

Felix woke up with a start, wiping sweat off his brow. He had once again relived the interrogation . He would probably remember that for the rest of his life. The lack of expression on Cara's face as she singed Salvatore's naked body. No hint of remorse or mercy could be seen at all.

Felix understood the neccesity to do whatever it took to complete this mission. But even as hardened to violence as he was, he could never have been as cruel as she was. Sometimes he envied the Faere for the gifts that their heritage conveyed on them. But his humanity was a gift that he treasured more than any Faere power. He glanced back at his watch, noting it was only 4am. Trying to get in a more comfortable position, Felix fell back into troubled sleep.

Terra gave a small sigh, pulling out his map once more. Well, it had been late last night, maybe she just didn't remember. Besides, he thought she wouldn't go for it anyway. She looked like more of a straight arrow kinda girl. Go for the front door, no matter who was guarding it.
"The two guards on the door are yours, whatever means you seem fit. It doesn't matter if people see you or not, once the gun shots start, most of them will head to the exit anyway. If anyone wants to play a hero, you just do whatyou need to do. I trust you can think on your feet."
He took out a long piece of rope, and a grappling hook.
"Me?" He used a conch to tie one end, "I'm going through the skybox window, shattering the glass, and shooting anyone with a gun. If things go well, we should have a few jackasses left alive to pretend to give us information. Just make sure not to underestimate anyone. These aren't idiots, and they are packing submachine guns. Be safe."
In the upper division of the Skybox, next to the Announcer's podium, was a ladder to roof access. It was nothing more than a short jump and a few lucky miracles to get him inside and ready to do damage.

Felix

After a few more hours of broken sleep, Felix wiped the sleep from his eyes. Checking his look in the mirror, Felix laughed at his reflection. He had not taken the time to get out of his makeup from the mission last night. He hardly recognized himself, and realized that at this point, he might be the ultimate coyote date.

Chuckling some more, Felix gathered a change of cloths in an overnight bag. Putting the bag over his shoulder, he walked up to the house. Hopefully the others would be awake so he could sneak in for a shower and maybe some breakfast. Then maybe they could figure out what they wanted to do from here. Ringing the doorbell, Felix patiently waited at the door.

Ty Lei

::she gave him a nod, then pulled the cloth from around her neck up to make a mask::

I'll see you inside the skybox then...

::She left him there and moved to the stables moving stealthily from one to the next until she could see the stands and boxes. Then she got beneath the stands and waited a few minutes knowing about a guard standing in her genearal area. he wait paid off as a man in a suit with a pistol in its holster beneath the jacket walked by. She quickly lept on him covering his mouth so he couldn't cry out, and mde him lose conciousness, lowering him to the ground as he drifted off. She drug him from view and hid him behind some equipment then set off again looking for the other guard beneath teh stands::

He made his way to the roof of the building without a single problem. No one so much as made a sideways glance in his direction. He had a ton of equipment on him, rope, grapling hook, a bag of goodies. He must have looked like some maintenance guy or something, not that it mattered. This was a race track, not an airport. No one ever started shit at a racetrack.
The ladder eased him onto the roof, as he stood there, a good hundred or so feet off of the ground. The Skybox below him, on the slanted roof. He moved carefully, trying not to make any noise. This point was very crucial, they couldn't figure out he was up here. If he was, the entire thing was blown.
We couldn't have that, now could we? Of course not.
He tied up the rope, using the ladder front. It hooked on easy enough, and didn't seem to give any. All he needed was three seconds, while he swung, and then he'd be in the box, and it'd all be over.
Or beginning, depending on your point of view.
Terra leaned far over the edge of the skybox roof, much farther than he could, using the secured rope to keep him from falling. Below were hundreds of fans in the stands, looking at the race outside in the field. Some were screaming, others were kissing tickets that had just made them rich.
"Nobody lives forever," He said, taking out an MP5, cocking her home, and jumping off of the roof.
He held in the air for a few moments, eternal, limbo of gravity, and the situation.
In a moment, he fell, the rope caught him, and a huge explosion of glass followed.
"Well, shit..."

Ty Lei

::She finished with the second guard soon after the first, and hid this one behind a steel beam so that it looked like he had fallen asleep. Two down, only the two at the door left.

She looked up at the stands and as she looked to see if any guards were looking over the edge, she noticed a ladder that would place her close by the skyboxes. Moving quickly, she started to climb the ladder, and soon found herself at the top level of the stands. The crowd would shield her from the eyes of the guards, so she crossed the guardrail and stalked towards the door of the skybox.

She reached the door right as Terra crashed through the window, and she used the distarction to attack the first heavily armed guard, first taking the gun from his grasp with a well placed club to his wrist. The guard wheeled around to view his attacker, but he never made it fully around before a secondblow found its mark across the back of his head, sending the guard crumbling to the ground in a heap.::

Letisha

OOC: sorry for my absence (not that my girl is needed;) )..I am dealing with family problems concerning cance and have not been able to post as I should. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute more regularly now.

IC:

After all of the hoopla concerning my vision, I decided to leave and go to my shop. It was way past time for me to put in some orders as I was running low on quite a few different herbs.

The scent of peace filled my nostrils as I walked inside and cut on my lights. I took a moment to center myself and then moved to the back stock room, the better to list what I was going to order once the sun came up.

A few hours later, I finished my ordering and cleaning and had waited on a few customers. I had not told Cara and the rest about my little network of psychics but I knew it was way past time to send out the call for information.

My phone began ringing about a half hour later and when my day was through, I had received a ton of differing pieces...including the best possible ways to enter the place where the girl was being held. I jotted all of the info down into my notebook and decided to head back to Cara's and Ty's. Once everyone else was in one spot, I would give them everything I had found out.

The crashing of glass caused many to look up, and it was a good thing they did, as shards rained down upon them. Most got out of the way.
Terra let go of the rope just as he swung into the skybox, dropping to the ground. He fell on the littered glass, his hand steady with his weapon, eyes burnt with the scene.
A good 5 men stood in here total. Only two were important, the rest were just levels of bodyguards. He was allowed to take one down before anyone moved. The panic and sheer unexpected attack had caught them offguard, as he had hoped...
But, also as he feared, these weren't stupid assholes, and the others dove for cover, pulling out weapons of their own.
Terra pushed himself forward, getting behind the huge cofa that stood in the center of the room. It was the only cover close enough to support him anything. One of the men had ducked down behind it, some others were further off in the room, one under a table of snacks, the others he wasn't so sure.
Fire rang out. Terra made himself flat to the floor, glass sticking into him, blood squirting out, it was the least of his problems though.
Below, somewhere, people began screaming and running in different directions. The horses, spooked, bucked off their riders, jumped over fences, or bolted off in a random direction.
Pandemonium, perfect.
A bullet lodged deep in his shoulder, he ground his teeth, muttering back a scream.
He shot through the couch first, aiming low, making sure to get the guy behind it. Something hard dropped to the floor, it was good enough for him.
He stood up, providing a target. He didn't want to, but this was a small room, and he didn't have much time for games. Shots rang out, letting him see where the others had scattered. Two were under the snack table, another hads propped himself in the corner, and the last one, one of the big boys, had made cover over one of the dead guys.
Bullets riddled into his side, sending sharp rivets of pain through him. Without a second thought, he leaped into the air, his gun ahead of him. Small gera in his feet, a part of cyborg implants, made his jump accurate and precise. He made it passed the couch, shooting into the corner.
The guy with the machine gun screamed, as blood flew out of his mouth.
He lost his footing, tripped, fell, slid for the snack table. He crashed into the two people under there. One of them had a nice mac 10, reloading, and the other was trying to pretend this whole thing wasn't happening.
Terra's gun had been lost somewhere in the bad landing, forgotten now, Terra grabbed for the Mac 10.
Blood seeped out of him like a wet fog, leaving him cold. He gritted his teeth, shuttering.

Cara

I shook the sleep from my eyes. I'd watched Letisha go before crashing into my bed.
THe door- ringing! Okay- I pulled on a sarong, tying it around me artfully, tossed my hair up into a clip and dashed downstairs, gun in hand.
It was only Felix. I smiled as I opened the door before laughing. "You look like something the cat dragged in! Come on- I'll show you to the guest rooms. There's a shower in there."
I got him settled in with towels and such things before heading downstairs to grab some food. I was starving.

Ty Lei

::All hell broke loose within the room, and the only guard left on the outside of the box opened the door of the skybox only to be hit by a few bullets flying around the inside.

Ty simply shook her head as she knelt down and felt for the mans pulse. Finding none, she moved towards the entrance to the skybox and caught a man with a swift kick to the gut as he tried to flee. The man doubled up and fell to the metal stands caughing. She pinned him down to the floor with one of her clubs, then looked through the door::

Everything taken care of in there Terra?

It was a lucky shot. He didn't know who's luck it was, though. The bullet, just inches from his head, missed, and hit his hand instead. It embedded itself deep inside, and would have gone through if he hadn't been holding his gun. He let it drop to the ground, along with some of his blood. He let loose from the mac in his other hand, taking care of the last guard.
His whole body was now planted on one of the few men there who he needed alive. Terra was on top of him, pressing his full weight down, making sure the man couldn't move a muscle, much less get to a gun.
"Fine," He cursed, pain wafting through him, "Just a few scratches, comes with the territory. Jack should be cowering in a corner somewhere, behind the couch. Make sure he's unarmed, ready to cooperate."
The mac, was pressed against the man's head, who started screaming out in pain. The gun barrel, which had just been fired, was now very hot. He pulled it away, seeing a small black ring of burnt skin at the man's temple.
"Johnny, a surprise to see you here. What is going on, my brother? A few associates of mine say you have a little girl hidden somewhere? Now, I know you know where she is, why don't you save us all a little bit of trouble, and tell me where she is."

Ty Lei

::She lifted her man to his feet and then roughly twisted his arm behind his back before laying the club across his throat. With her man now subdued, she led him into the skybox.::

I assume this is Jack.

::She held the man so that Terra could see him,and also as a shield should something unforsen happen, then waited and listened to what they had to say, her ears listening for any signs of the police.::

Felix

Felix thanked her for the towels as he headed for the shower. After spending a few minutes letting the hot water relax his tired muscles, Felix finished his shower. Getting changed into fresh clothes always made him feel better. Hanging the towel back up neatly, he went down stairs. He smelled a fantastic smell emanating from the kitchen. "That smells great, what is for breakfast?"

Cara

I rattled off some name in French before turning away from the electric griddle before me.
"Translation- French Toast and portabello omlettes. Here you go- syrup's right there, butter, though I doubt you'll need it, is in the fridge."
I set a plate before Felix at the bar-like seating area that overlooked the main area of the kitchen.
I'd tossed on a pair of jeans and a spahgetti strap shirt, both in black. A crimson apron kept the powdered sugar off of my cloths and my hair was tied back with a matching ribbon.
I made myself a plate after turning off the griddle and putting the frech toast mix in the fridge. I knew Ty would probably want some when she got home, no matter what time it was.
I sat down next to Felix and dug in.
"So, what are your plans for the day?"

Letisha

I closed up shop about noon and decided to return to Cara's. After all, I was sure she had a copier and I could finish fleshing out what my contacts had told me in the comfort of my room.

As I pulled out from behind the shop, I noticed my car making funny sounds. Something was off. Hitting the brakes did no good as the car would not stop. Luckily, I was in town so I hooked my seatbelt and swerved across the road, aiming for a tree.

The car hit, bounced and rested. I unhooked myself and got out, grabbing my leather backpack and my cell phone. Who ever had fucked with my car had not done a good job. They cut the lines too far.

I called the police and then Cara.

"Cara, someone fucked with my brakelines, however, I now have a few viable ways to get the girl. As soon as the police are finished with me, I will catch a taxi to your home."

An hour later, I pulled up to Cara's house and paid my taxi driver. I guess until the girl was safe..I was officially persona non grata.

Felix

Felix swallowed down his last forkful of his first helping. He stood up and put more on his plate. He turned to Cara. "Well, Ty and Terra have been gone for a while now. We may want to wait for them to come back and see what they have found out. Sal was not as forthcoming with information as we had hoped. Other than that........" Felix waited as Cara answered her cell phone. He listened to her talking to Letisha.

Felix chewed quietly so as to not distract Cara from her conversation. But Felix was able to pick up bits of what was being said. Cut brake lines, hmmmmm, maybe they were not as circumspect as he had hoped. They might have to make a more daring frontal attack to get the girl rather than quietly working in the background as Felix was apt to do.

He waited for Cara to put down the phone. "At least she is safe and was not too badly hurt. I guess we are not as slick as we thought we were, or we have a traitor in our midst. I am hoping the later. At this point, I would like to study our information packets again. There may be something we missed. "

Felix pulled out his folder and started to study it. He reread everything as he looked for a new angle or new information that he had not noticed before. He rubbed his eyes, noticing that an hour had passed much faster than he had expected. He was about to say something to Cara when he heard the bell ring.

Cara

I hoped up to answer the door, leaving Felix to pour over his packet while dishes soaked in the sink.
"Come on in, Letisha, you okay?"
I escorted her into the kitchen where Felix sat.
"Ty and Terra should be reporting back soon, hopefully with the exact location of the girl and maybe some other useful info. You learn anything new?"

Terra pressed the gun hard to his head again, letting him burn once more. The man underneath him struggled and squirmed, but after a moment he settled down. The burnt skin must have cooled it off enough.
"Is that Jack?" Terra flipped his head the other way, letting him see Ty's recent capture.
"Yeah.... yeah, that's him."
"Four guards in here, you and Jack.... two outside. Is there anyone else we need to be worried about? Don't lie to me, I don't need both of you, only one. You answer straight and honest, maybe we can all go home."
"A driver," His words came out hushed, and hurried, but they were clear enough for Terra, "Outside, waiting. A couple of goons in there, they'll come investigate."
"Good. In the parking lot?"
"Yes."
Terra estimated the time, "We've only got a few minutes. So, let's be quick about it. No foreplay, guys, sorry. No KY. Just quick and fast... the way I like it. Where's the girl?"
"Who in the fuck sent you?"
Terra growled, pulling out the man's hand. He stuck the gun between his palm, and shot. The man screamed, and droplets of blood covered them both.
"I'm asking the questions. Stay focused...."
He was screaming, and normally Terra would just wait... let him stop, the pain to wear down, his whole body to wear down. It's easier to talk to them when they are low and on the verge of tears. They didn't have that luxury though.
"The girl, where is she?"
"Terra," Jack spoke up, "The price on your head doubled. You fucker."
Terra smiled, making him look scary with the blood running down his face.
"Yeah? Am I famous? Good for me.... I might get on T.V. That's not the question Jack. I asked where the girl was. You tell me, and I promise you can collect the reward on my head when I go rescue her."
"A cabin, in the woods. Near Mount Seamus. We're keeping her there."
Terra let the gun go up to Johnny's temple again. It had just been fired, and the man screamed once more.
"In the woods? Come on, Johnny. To Grandmother's house we go."
"There's a mansion at the edge of town, in a winery. A country mansion. I swear to God. Please, get that fucking gun off of me."
Jack pursed his lips, "There's a place at the coast. They said they were keeping her there."
Terra looked at both of them, unsure who to believe. The cabin, the country house, or the coastal mansion. They all seemed like good places to hide a kidnapped girl.
He looked over to Ty, "We don't have much time. A minute, maybe less, let's get out of here."

::She removed the club from across Jack's throat, then struck him in the back of his head making him fall in a heap onto the floor. She then slid one of the clubs into her belt behind her, then moved out of the skybox.

People along the ground were starting to gather to see what was going on in the skybox. Men started to point up at her as she exited and she looked at Terra.::

Seems weve become popular. Ill meet you at the truck...

::She darted down to the ladder she used to ascend the bleachers and quickly flung herself over the edge grabbing the ladder and slidding down. Her feet would touch every so many rungs so that she could remain at a managable speed, and soon she was on the ground. She thought she was going to have to fight her way to the truck, but she reached the stable by the truck without incident.

There she stopped and waited for Terra to get to the truck.::

Felix

Felix gave a wave to Letisha as she entered the room. He stood up and pulled a chair out for her. After waiting for her to sit down , he went back to the folder. He looked up from time to time at Letisha. He could hardly imagine what it must be like to have power such as she did. To be able to fully use your mind as the lord intended must be exhilirating. But she looked more exhausted than anything. Felix stopped looking at the folder to hear what she had to say.

Letisha

I took a moment upon entering the house to make copies of all my notes. Once I had finished with that, I returned to the dining room and gave a sheet to Cara and Felix.

"This is what I have. As you know I have been in almost constant contact with our girl. I also had others looking into her disappearance. By others, I mean psychics like myself. We all concur that she is in the home I mentioned not so long ago.

If you look at your sheets, you will notice a faint map of the outside grounds. I have marked 3 different places..the most prominent point being a small water way that flows right past the basement, where I believe she is.

The grounds have a ton of tree coverage..but also a ton of guards. I know that the first acreage will be easily transversed...and I also know that if you can make it to the water way you all will have a clear shot at extracting the girl with no problems what so ever. All the shit in between is unknown.

I hope this helps out."

I stopped speaking for a moment before continuing on.

"As for the brake lines on my car. I am tempted to think that it was the people we work FOR. They tend to be a bit attitudinal when I don't get results fast enough for them. By their logic, the child was harmed because I was not fast enough in locating her.

If they had wanted me dead, they would have done a less sloppy job on the brakes. Now if you will pardon me, I think I need a bath and a nap."

I gave a faint grin before leaving the table and heading for my room.

OOC: My mother is in the hospital on life support. We will be pulling the plug tomorrow afternoon. I do not know when I will be back to contribute again.
