Wow! What a musical line-up! With Jon Anderson of Yes!gypsywitch said:http://www.harmonyfestival.com/
This is the happening place for me n' my tot this weekend. No vending or performing this year though. I think the last time I did that was in '99. Plenty of business cards to hand out of course.![]()

Wow, Sounds like it called for some ingenious "improvisation" at the Goddess Temple...Take some pixxies...gypsywitch said:yea... RamDas was there a year or so ago and it was great to see him still kickin' even after his stroke ~ I worked for one of his non-profits for several years back in the late 80's and early 90's
when I performed at the Goddess Temple stage a couple of years ago the live drummers played the wrong music and I had to make up this while new dance that didn't really go with my costume ~ oh well... I don't think anyone cared anyway![]()
the beach calls for tomorrow and we'll do the Sunday Fest![]()

I think one of the pitfalls of the board is that there is so much general agreement on many issues, it doesn't lead to as much spirited discussion as we would get with a more diverse group of posters.

I'd like to see more discussion about the political and lifestyle issues that relate to the region that various homosexuals are living in. One friend of mine left NY and his true love because it was so different from growing up in the SF area. There really is much more tolerance here. Another man friend who has a suit n' tie career has found that he is getting more work by being out since companies want to fill 'quotas' or look more hip by having gay employees. He's also trying out for our famous Gay Men's Choir here, so fingers crossed.
The real Lesbian community is very strong here and pushing the spiritual envelope especially when it comes to raising children. More of them at that (GLBT) forum would be nice too. Out of four Kindregarten classes we had had two two-mommy families come to our Mother's Day luncheon and no one flinched a bit. At least not out loud. Teasing in the past was a big problem at our school in the higher grades when same-sex couples came to support their children.
Somehow I think that people who are out and comfortable have other sites to go to and have their fun. Trans and Bi lifestyles are a very big trend now, so it makes sense that they take up space.
It would be nice to see more stories about coming out and relationship gossip is always fun. Feel free to point me towards threads that might be more interesting.
spice did you say ?Ha! Good one G. Almost something like those naughty novelty writing pens that you turn upside down to see the naked guy or girl! (Got any more?)gypsywitch said:

Yes. We all like to be called "pretty"!gypsywitch said:Friday's fem blog
Tomorrow I teach a drumming class at 10:30, then take a dance class at 2, then audition for this troupe called Jaweh at 4, then leave home with a friend for a fair drive at 5:30 to merry meet in the back wine country for an all woman Pagan gathering. This will be the first time I'm taking my daughter who is five and I have no problem with the partial or full nudity that she may see, though I stay dressed myself.
Last time I helped a real butch gal fem up a little bit by pinning a flower on her and telling her she was pretty. She just beamed and hasn't hit on me. thank goodness![]()
