OMG Were you on I-5? Did you go thru our Freeway 99?
I love San Diego. My niece lives there. She's married to a rock guitarist. I think they toured with Staind. I can even remember the group name.

I actually drove 99 all the way south since fishaholic had to stop and do some business on his way out of town. We came back 5 though. Just my daughter and I are flying to LAX the day after Christmas. We'll have a week down there with my brother and his family.

I get to meet spacekowboy420 too. :nana:

Hi Gypsywitch,

Being new to Literotica, would like to introduce myself - also live in the Bay Area (San Francisco to be exact), and am also bi, and also love bears - have been reading your other posts so as to have something to say and definitely enjoyed them. Re: the changes in SF, what troubles you the most? The dot.com boom definitely had a deleterious impact on my neighborhood and it only seems to now be getting back to normal - range of ages, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, occupations, etc. with a truly friendly and broadly accepting neighborhood feel, However, almost all of the artists have left and probably will never come back due to our very high rents :(

Honey the outpriced ones are up here on the Russian River. ;) We've got the whole hippie, New Age, Pagan, Rainbow, artsy thing going on up here and we just scoot down to The City whenever we can. Berkeley too, since they have a wonderful worldbeat thing goin' on over there.
Traffic and sprawl are my biggest concerns besides earthquakes and wild fires.
Very cool towns like Fairfax in Marin where we lived for many years is now seeing that change where the real estate prices have brought in a different type of resident. You should have been there in the seventies... aw man! Way cool!
I grew up down in Sunnyvale as it became Silicon Valley but luckily got to live in the Santa Cruz Mountains for a while. I still go to Capitola to see friends when ever I can.
There was a family real estate opportunity for me up in Oregon and another down in San Diego but as long as the Deadhead and bellydance scene stay the way they are I have no reason to leave. I love the weather too. Even today, but my hair looks like a poodle.

I'll PM you my website addy and you'll go... OH! :D

peace

Hey, what a Full Moon tonight!

December's full moon, The "Long Night Moon."

"December 15, 2005
The full Moon passes through the Winter Circle tonight -- a ring of some the brightest stars in the night sky. The brightest is Sirius, which is the brightest star in the night sky. The stars of Gemini, Taurus, and other prominent constellations join the circle." - StarDate Online
