All I’ll say is L. Ron Hubbard was a pretty awful science fiction writer and less then successful at what he tried. Then came all of the above, so hopefully this is all of use to the OP...

It seems like every time I turn on the TV there's a new show on about Scientology. I'm not looking for it, it just seems to turn up. And even though, everyone that leave Scientology says that it's a cult, evil, controlling, constant pressure for money etc, they also all say that many of the course are amazing. Especially the ones pertaining to getting rid of past guilt, resentment and negative behaviors.

I was wondering if anyone had any of these courses. Don't worry, or maybe be very worried, but my motive for obtaining the courses was way more complex than wanting to take the courses for myself. LOL

That's why I was asking for an ex Scientology member. Even further, I had designs to write my own self help book/course using the best parts of scientology but leaving out the cult/scam/emeter stuff.

I don't think it's going to work.

Self help books are about a dime a dozen once the new wears off or the author goes to prison. So make that money quick.
