The book was very good. The movie was absolutely terrible. They changed almost everything about the storyline from the book when they made the movie, and completely ruined the movie.

My absolute favorite novel is White Oleander. I don't think any adaptation could truly do it justice but I still enjoyed the film.

Great book, and a pretty good screen adaptation. I’m an ex swabbie, so both the book and the movie strike a chord with me.

Damn. Not a lot of Heinlein films out there. Most of hisbooks are unfilmable. Great choice.

So this one will take some explaining. First off loved this movie. Cried a few times during the film. The second time I went to see it with some friends we ran into technical issues. Where right before the previews the projector crashed. They rebooted and we got to see most of the previews. Then it crashed again. They rebooted again. We had now received two free passes. The film scene promos started rolling and then the screen blanked again. It’s now about an hour and a half past the start time. We were discussing taking off when the projector started again at the beginning of the film having skipped the previews. I did let out an actually cheer. Maybe the only time I’ve ever cheered at a movie. I then proceeded to cry a few more times.
