I’m not sure I understand the prompt? Asking for celebrities who are super hot but we don’t think of that as the first thing about them (which, like, I’m not sure I can agree that anything other than smoking hot is and has been the first thing I have ever thought about Bernadette)

Really? The first thing I thought was “why is she talking like that?!?” but after I got over that part, her talent is undeniable.

I just recently watched Some Like It Hot for the first time. Marilyn was fucking fantastic in it.

Love that film.

I’ve spent a LOT of time at the historic, reportedly haunted hotel where that was filmed. The most often-sighted resident ghost was a jilted woman named Kate Morgan, who died there decades ago. The gift shops include a lot of merchandise from the hotel’s history, especially the shop named 1888, after the year of its founding. Once, I was looking at a Marilyn Monroe coffee table book there, when another of her books that I did not touch and was leaning back on one of those tripod book holders suddenly pitched forward and onto the floor at my feet. Being a few feet away from the Kate Morgan section, I joked that maybe she was jealous when the sales associate looked over at me questioningly, but she said “oh no, she doesn’t come in here.”
