Fight Club is the only movie that I've never seen that I thought was better than the book.

Jaws was far better as a movie. So was The Godfather. I enjoyed Ready Player One far more as a movie than a book. Off the top of my head.

Jaws was far better as a movie. So was The Godfather. I enjoyed Ready Player One far more as a movie than a book. Off the top of my head.

Have not read Jaws or Ready Player One. I mightve not even seen the movies tbh

But i don't agree for The Godfather. I really enjoyed the books. And though, the feel of the movie is great, there's just no way a 2 or 3 or even 4 hr movie can be as immersive and detailed as a book. I could have done without the poop every time someone died though. I can also handle violence better in books than movies.

I think that a subplot (that was about 15% of the book) on how Kay got into an affair with Sonny because she had a large vagina and couln't get satisfaction from her lovers, and he was packing serious heat, may have scarred me, as I can still remember that 30 years later.
