Right? And, some folks are so tragically dumb that there is no use in trying to explain complicated concepts. My sister in law has no idea how the economy works, her answer to everything is "I don't know why they don't just print more money" she has said this in front of our cousin, who is an economics professor...

Honestly? Could work! ...IF all you're printing is pennies, because it costs almost 4 pennies to make 1 penny! Money literally evaporating on the spot. Presto! Money's suddenly rarer and more valuable.

I’ve never had this. But this conversation did lead me to reflect on the idea that the list of things I am certain peanut butter would not improve, is very small. Marshmallow fluff is not on that list for sure.

I don’t know enough about it to argue it’s merits but while I think Paul Krugman is an intelligent and thoughtful human being a Nobel Prize winning Economist is still more akin to being a Nobel Prize winning Astrologer than a Nobel Prize Winning Scientist.. Any economist who says they got it right is lying to you if not themselves.
