Nancy Friday has a delightful set of books in which she collected women's fantasies from the 60's and then again in the 80's (I might have those dates wrong). Comparing the two sets with a psych perspective, she shows how much the fantasies have changed as women's roles in society have progressed, and how much they have not. She also has one on men's fantasies.

It's excellent reading on the topic as the fantasies are real and unedited and her commentary delves into the psychology.
