Shot fired at Trump?

Then it wouldn't be an assassination, would it?

BTW, you don't get to be one of the richest people in America by not hiring competent people. What you don't understand, because your world is probably too small, is that among any large corporation there will always be those who are hired for reasons other than competence. Those failures are properly placed upon those doing the hiring, not the CEO who does not.

Not that this takes away from Trump hiring lawyers who abandon him. He's advised that, based on their resumes, those lawyers are "the best." That it later turned out to not be the case, isn't a stain on him either because a lack of courage isn't something that most people put on their resume.
Your statement on hiring seems to fly in the face of common sense. You say 'they' are those hired for reason other than competence. Like being able to swear loyalty to a mob boss type of competence? Trump's business is described as a close-knit family affair, not a far-flung corporate enterprise. The legal beagles abandoned him when they were fleeing criminal prosecutions because they tried to cover up his messes and lied for him, thinking he was some sort of 'god?' Rudy? Really? You think his staff hired him? Naw, it was that buddy-buddy pattern of Trump finding someone to do his bidding.

Yeah, the stain on him is his and his alone. The dozen of them he lost or who quit on him testify to that. Also, all the cabinet members he fired or quit because of his derangement now say he is not fit for office or that they will not be voting for him because he is a loony, weirdo, and batshit crazy.

Your spinner is loose; you need a wrench to tighten that nut and lock-washer again.:D

So you want HIPAA repealed so you can force Trump to publish his medical information just to satisfy your curiosity?

Let's see YOUR medical information first. Then we'll decide if that's a good enough reason to make Trump give up his.
You want to violate HIPPA for someone who wasn't shot in the ear? Are you weird, too?

I'm not trying to change their minds, my efforts are spent trying to ensure that they don't trick someone else into believing their bullshit.
You are such a good role model for that covey of birds who might change their minds once they see the whole picture before them. Like the flight of all those lawyers and cabinet members who woke up and saw the light of day. That list is growing: Dick and Liz are both now on board. The invitation is extended to you like an olive branch as well. Come on... you know it is time to jump ship. Trump's is taking on water and it is only a matter of time.

Someone took a shot at the guy....what else is true is still unclear to me. Maybe Kathy Griffin hired him? If she has any money left now that her career is toast.

It’s not been established that Thomas Crooks was shooting at Donald Trump.

Do you have proof the kid was paid ?
No?
It would be nice to know with whom he communicated. Someday we will know.
Kathy Griffith is doing fine she says

I was being a little facetious, but he had to have some motive, and it seems pretty obvious to me who his target was, given the context. Trump was the most prominent person at that rally, after all. I doubt that he was gunning for the Secret Service agents, for instance.

Horrible shot!! One close shit and the others? Way off?
I guess the secret service did save ‘rump.
Amazing ear recovery !!
Strangely rehearsed security reaction that didn’t protect him.

good thing she lives rent free in your head.

kathy griffin? from a decade ago?
I was being facetious, but okay. She really did have a fake beheading pose, if you recall. It also cost her a lot of money, to put it mildly. Honestly, I think that some folks need to charge Trump rent, because he lives rent free in theirs, but the same is still true of Hillary and Obama on the right. So there you go. I can be dismissive on a bipartisan basis.

you're nutty as fuck.

The journalist wrote that during their interview, Trump “raised his right hand and grabbed hold of [his ear]. He bent it backward and forward.”

“They didn’t need a stitch,” Trump said at the time.

“Usually, something like that would be considered a surreal experience, where you sort of don’t realize it, and yet there was no surrealism in this case,” he added. “I felt immediately that I got hit by a bullet. I also knew it was my ear.”

But Nuzzi wrote in the lengthy piece that “an ear had never appeared to have gone through less.”

She added: “Except there, on the tiniest patch of this tiny sculpture of skin, a minor distortion that resembled not a crucifixion wound but the distant aftermath of a sunburn.”

so, a tiny graze or nick, not even enough to require a single stitch

ears, faces, heads bleed profusely even from the smallest wounds

yes, he could have been injured a lot worse and, for the sake of democracy, i'm glad he wasn't. the last thing America needs is trump being seen as a martyr

Well put, I agree. The timeline of an assassination/martyr is nothing I ever wanted to imagine
