Siobhan's fantasy epic of eipc fantasy (open, PM me first)

"Not sure mom liked my face all that much or I wouldn't have been sent away." Harrison protested, playing along with her comments. He walked and glanced at her as they talked, trying not to stare at the flash of skin from the part of her robes. He chuckled at her ribbing, nodding along.

"I know. A man should have a stable income to support a family and never leave home. He should be buried within a mile of where he was born. That's the stability people crave," He said, sounding down on himself, but pausing to look at the vista his home allows. "I mean, how could I come all this way and give up a home and stable life as I scribe for this?" He asked rhetorically.

Turning back to the door, he found his key and unlocked the door. Turning to Miray, he took her in both arms as he shifted his grip to step through the door. "Oops, I stumbled a bit there. You better walk me upstairs to make sure I get to bed safely." He suggested, looking down into her eyes. "Wouldn't want something to happen to me to keep me from the delve..." He said as he leaned down to her slowly, curious if she was interested enough to meet him part way.

As Dieter made his way up into the rise, he found the "City Elf" neighborhood easily enough. A shop overlooking the park that he was told was the elven embassy still had its lights on. Inside were two men in tight breeches, instead of the billowy pants favored by humans. Rather than doublets they wore some fashion of strange long coat, adorned with buttons and buckles. Outside, sat two more men similarly attired. They were drinking wine and eating apple slices with cheese. Both raised their eyebrows at the odd appearance of the genasi. His kind were largely unknown outside of Kesh and even there were rare enough to attract quite a bit of attention. Still they were polite and said nothing as he made his way into the shop.

A bored man waved languidly "we're clo..." then as he saw the man he stopped "well. what are YOU?" suddenly interested. He bustled out "Welcome to my shop." He sketched a short bow and then circled the Genasi, taking note of his physique "well. well well well. You're a fine looking young man." he leans against the counter "what brings you in today?"

Miray lets Harrison tug her into the house "yes you seem quite unsteady" she swats him once inside "what kind of girl do you think I am? going into a man's house unaccompanied by my uncles and brothers." She shakes her head and grins "Like some Volkish tart." She doesn't pull away though, instead parting her lips, looking up at Harrison "Just begging for kisses from foreign men with interesting accents."

her curvy body pressed into his a bit, at odds with her playful words. Her hand ran up his back, and she turned to more fully face him. Her ample chest pressed into his and her huge brown eyes looked up at him. She swallowed, then parted her lips again, just slightly, an invitation... though with her it might be an invitation to make a fool of himself. It was hard to say.

Dieter smiles at the fashion the men were wearing. Was it his style? Not really but he didn't think it looked bad. He waved at the two drinking wine outside as he entered the shop and looked around. As he heard the voice about to say the shop was closed he paused for a moment but stifled a laugh as the man asked what he was. "I apologize for coming here so late. If you are trying to close i could leave. I was just told if I was looking for the best cloak around this was the shop to come to. So I had to come as quickly as I could. As for what I am, they call me a genasi. Not something I've seen in this city yet, even though there are so many people around."

Dieter let's the man take a look at him assuming part of the reason is to get his measurements. "I am here for a cloak, though if you have any other clothing or items good for protection I would like to take a look at those as well. The fashion here intrigues me, I must say I enjoy it more here than I've seen in the towns I've been to before. I'll pay a little extra for keeping you open past closing if you wish, otherwise I can come back in the morning." He didn't want to be rude and keep the old man open too late but he figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

"tosh. you live a few hundred years you crave a little novelty" the elf moved around Dieter "a cloak you say? how boringly human of you" He gestured "a coat like these men wear can be enchanted to protect as strongly as mail. For extra, of course" he tutted "but there are some other things that can be woven into a cloak I'm told. Protection from certain magics for instance" he starts taking measurments "the cloak itself would be 100 gold"

That was, frankly, an outrageous price for a cloak. "Before you say anything, you must understand that it will be SUCH a cloak." he continues measuring the genasi "You're not buying something to curl up in camp with. You're buying an announcement of your presence. Your own personal crier that says. Look at me. Know me. Fear me. I'm a man with a 100 gold piece cloak."

Dieter chuckles and shakes his head. "Everywhere I go people stare, I don't think I need clothing that says look at me. However, for the benefit of protection I am willing to pay. Protections from magic would make it even better. Though a coat that's as protective of mail, that is a coat I'd be willing to wear. I just don't tend to wear too many things that don't let me show off my body. A cloak to hide it from prying eyes now and then can be useful though." He pauses for a moment, before responding he sighs. "Though I suppose if I'm going into the catacombs I'll need all of the protection I can get. Load me up, tell me what all you have"

"mmm you tender little morsel. I hear that" The elf responds to Dieter's comment about showing himself off. "Come to my place for a weekend and I'll cover you with nothing but me" He moves around "we don't... have... anything. Every piece is a bespoke marvel. There's an enchanter we pair with. You could meet him tomorrow to discuss your options. Obviously to make it enchantable I have to sew in various symbols and whatnot. it's a collaborative process and it takes the better part of a week, then the enchanting usually takes a day"

Dieter nods, "Better part of a week huh? I suppose I could kill some time in the city waiting for everything to be finished. If you point me in the right direction, I will speak with the enchanter first thing tomorrow. Not in a rush by any means so time won't be an issue." He chuckles at the elf's comments. "Hey, if you got the goods, show them off right? I haven't worked hard on this body for people not to check me out. Even if the hair gets most of the looks. A whole weekend huh? Don't tempt me with a good time, I still have the entire city to explore." Dietrr laughs though he does want to explore as much of the city as he can. He doesn't see a city such as this every day. Who wouldn't want a chance to explore what all of the men and women have to offer.

The elf chuckles "flirt. If you're angling for a discount" he leans in and fake whispers next to Dieter's ear "it's working" He grins and runs a hand along Dieter's back "come back in the morning and talk to my associate. We can discuss color schemes and styles once you've had a chat with him. If you're mostly going for fashion and a bit of protection from magic, We could talk about a nice cape instead of a cloak. Show yourself off a bit more."

He hmmms "and how about some nice tight pants? Those .... bulbous sacks that humans wear... do nothing to flatter the figure. We could put you in something with nice lean lines that let the boys and girls know exactly what they're getting with you. I mean... unless they're not getting much. But if you're packing any heat besides the heat on your head... show it off. I could do a pant for you for 20 gold if you promised to let everyone know where you got it"

Again, 20 gold for pants was insane, but it seemed Dieter had walked into the name of names among Gradzlatan tailors.

Dieter chuckles, enjoying the conversation with the elf. "20 gold huh? Is that with or without my discount?" He smiles and nods his head, "I will be sure to let everyone know where I get all of this excellent clothing, don't you worry about that. Tight pants would certainly be something I'd look into, give everyone a little show, let them know what they will get with me. If I let them of course." Dieter smiles and stretches his back feeling the man's hand. "I feel it's about time I went for some more fashionable looks. I got the gold, it's time to let everyone know I'm not just some poor looking piece of ass." He laughs again and turns toward the elf. "Tomorrow morning then? I shall be back nice and early to discuss what all we can do as far as getting me the finest quality wear one canget around here. I appreciate you staying open a little later to accommodate me." He winks as he gets ready to head back to the whorish mermaid for the night.

The elf smirks "I'd accommodate you all night." He winks at Dieter "Be careful. The Ludowy live on the east side for the most part and a little Volk boy like you might end up on the wrong end of a beating. Though ... the rubes would probably think twice about tangling with you. They'll assume you're a wizard even if you aren't. Still. Best to be on the east side during the day if you're going to open that pretty mouth of yours and let all that terrible Volkish accent out."

Dieter nods and bows, "Thank you for the advice. No one mentioned that to me before. But ill be ready if they try any funny business now. Fire is my friend, others tend to fear it. Especially if getting on my bad side. Terrible accent huh? Well at least my pretty mouth makes up for having that huh?" He chuckles one finally time and waves before heading out of the store and back to the whorish mermaid. He puts his hood up and walks cautiously through the streets. He wonders how much the atmosphere will have changed since he left, he smiles thinking about how smoothly the first day in the new city has gone.

Dieter's return to the mermaid was a return to riotous music, drunkards and a bit of a corner brawl. The reason for makeshift furniture became clear as a stool was quickly turned into a weapon and dashed across the back of an armored half orc. The event seemed commonplace enough for the tavern that most of the patrons simply moved to a safer distance and resumed their conversations, or lone sullen drinking and staring into space. The day's earlier barmaid was no longer present, and the current one seemed harried at the very least. She veered through the crowd, taking orders and handing out tankards in exchange for coin. Even wine came in a metal cup, which given the brawling seemed prudent.

The air was thick with the smell of humanity, stale beer and roasting meat. A few scowls came his way until the door was closed and the evening chill held at bay by a few planks of sturdy wood, the mood returning almost instantly to how it was as if nothing had disturbed it.

Dieter rolled his eyes at the scowls but shrugged them off. Looking for the least rowdy spot in the place he grabbed a drink and took a seat. He spent a few minutes looking around at the patrons while drinking his beer. Shaking his head at the stool being turned into a weapon he realized exactly why the furniture wasn't of the greatest quality. The smell didn't bother him much, he was used to it staying in inns like this throughout the years. He spent some time drinking and listening to the music playing.

After a few beers and listening to music he figured it was time to head to bed. He knew he had to be up early so he headed up to his room. He went to sleep and at first light he was already up. He got dressed and headed downstairs to see what the inn had for breakfast.

Harrison leaned in the rest of the way, pressing his lips to hers, but not too hard. His tongue danced at her parted lips, but not too forcefully. Stepping and turning into the house, he drew her inside. With a deft flick of the wrist, the door swung closed behind them. Breaking that first kiss, he smiled at her. "I don't think you're the type to listen to your make relatives about who or what you want to be. That's the sort of woman I like having in my life." He said, dropping the flirting and speaking honestly. Kissing her softly again, he continued. "But if this is only for tonight, I am happy for whatever you want to give me." He said before another kiss.

The crates and trunks made maneuvering around the house a little tricky, but Harrison guided her toward his bedroom. He never forced, following her body and non-verbal communication as he held her and enjoyed the feel of her body against his. He could feel like this was a dance and he was prepared still for her to fight back in her own way. He had a feeling she wasn't going to make this easy.

Breakfast was a simple porridge of stale bread mixed with milk to liven it up, and a bit of dried fruit mixed in. Once he'd broken his fast, Dieter was able to explore the City again. AS he walked out, it was a brisk fall day. The Gradzlatan's seemed more dressed against what they considered "the cold" but being a southern city on the water, the fall was definitely far more mild than it would have been at home. For Dieter, it was positively balmy.

Down at the docks, grain was flooding in from the ports of his home and Ludowy, and flowing out on great Sewochan barges and Gradzlatan ships, all headed south. From there, he had a better look at the rise, the trees of the rise were burnished in scarlet and gold. With the smoke of the day not yet started, the morning had a fresh feel to it. he had a little time, and could either head up to teh tailor or explore a bit. From all accounts, finding others to go into the catacombs was usually for later in the day.

Dieter walked outside and smiled, he loved this time of year. The cooler weather, the changing of the leaves, and the smell from the fires to warm everyone. He took a few moments to think of what he'd do first today. He figured it would be smarter to find a group until after he's looked into getting in touch with the trailer he headed back up to the Elf's shop, taking his time and enjoying the scenery as he walked. As he got closer to the shop he walked a little faster not wanting to be too late. When he arrived he entered, greeting the elf once more and looking for the enchanter he spoke of the night before.

reply to Harrison

"Who said anything about listening to them" She followed Harrison into the dark recesses of the rented house. She spoke a word, and the logs in the fireplace flared to life, shedding light through the dark room. "as for what happens after today, every time is part of an extended audition for the next time. That's true of all people, all the time" She laughs and pushes him more into the center of the open living space on the first floor of the house. She looks around, seeing a couch... a table.... chests and chests and chests of his stuff unpacked.

She presses her curves against him, running her hand along his chest, down along his stomach and towards the waist of his breeches. She leans in as if to kiss him again, then brushes her lips along his jaw to his ear. She tugs at his earlobe, then traces her tongue along the ridge of his ear for a moment. She purrs, her voice as smoky as the newly lit fire "so.... what box are we unpacking first? I mean do you need your clothes or your cooking implements?" She grins and steps back, teasing, looking around as if ready to set in to unpack his belongings.

Harrison holds Miray close as she curls against him. Sighing at the feel of her curves against his body, he slid his arms around her a bit tighter. He couldn't help a chuckle at her question. Leaning back to look in her eyes, he smiled. "I think I'll need to unpack my linens. Those are in the bedroom. I have a feeling I'll be putting them to use very soon." He joked, leaning in and trying to kiss her again.

The bedrooms and other private rooms were all upstairs. Navigating the first floor with all the crates was tricky. The stairs were a problem as it was touch to walk up the narrow rise while still holding one another. Finding his way to the bedroom, he guided Miray behind him. He stood in the room gesturing to one of the crates. "I believe they are in there. Perhaps we should test how sound the bed is first before making it." He offered, grinning at her.

Along with the handsy tailor sat an elf, dressed as the men the night before. He was tall with long blond hair and he gave a slight nod as the Genasi entered "Welcome, child of the Ifrit. I am Tiberius of the Grachii" he moved over to look down at the genasi a bit, being quite tall "I am given to understand you seek magical enhancements to a cloak, cape or coat. Obviously we have different options available depending. A coat we can armor, a cape or a cloak we can simply use to enhance protiection against magic. Are you more interested in tailoring your garb to the enchantment or the enchantment to the garb? pun intended"

Miray moved after him up the stairs, to the center of the bedroom. She paused a moment there, and again so there would be light tossed a little wood in the fireplace. Also the fall chill was more noticeable there in the rise, given the slight elevation. She spoke a word, and the logs erupted instantly into full flame. She turned then and looked Harrison over "test the bed? That's your best line? what if i prefer the floor." She looked down at the planks of the floor then over at the bed "I mean I don't..."

She laughed and stepped back in, running her hand through his hair and tugging him down to kiss him. Her tongue sought his, sliding along past his teeth and into his mouth. She wrapped her fingers tight in the roots of his hair, and arched to rub her sizable chest against him. Pulling back she opened her mages robe a bit, letting the resplendent orange silk slide down to expose a bit of olive skinned shoulder. "But you know, I'm not averse to floors either. As a general proposition." She moved over towards the bed. She looks over her shoulder at Harrison "well, how do you propose to test it? lying down or are you man enough to just bend me over it?" She teases "I mean, I'm a mistress of fire i might take offense if you're too rough... or not rough enough. "

Harrison shrugged a bit at her comment. "I may have stretched the metaphor a bit too far." He conceded, but fell into the kiss all too happily. Moaning against her lips, he held her tight, enjoying the feel of her body against his. She was curvaceous in all the right places in all the ways that Harrison loved. He hated for it to end before be saw her slip the robes down.

Watching her strut to the bed, he enjoyed a full view of her body as he listened. Walking over, he slid his hands around to her front. "Either way, I think you should be naked..." He said, his voice dark and husky as he finished opening her sashes and helping the robes down the rest of the way. "And I don't think you would follow a timid leader." He adds, pushing her shoulders forward so she bends over the bed.

Sliding a hand up her thighs, he slides his fingers against her most intimate folds. His other hand on her shoulder, he teases her. "Yes, I think this position will work for us." He says, moving his hand from her crotch to open his pants as he looks down at her body. With a hard thunk, his pants hit the floor along with his belt. He stepped out of them and brought his shaft in closer as he lined up with her from behind. He paused one last time to make sure this was something she wanted as much as he did.

Harrison's fingers would find her at least interested, if not revealing the extent of that interest beyond the obvious physical manifestation of it. her full lips were slick between and she let out a soft sigh as his fingers travelled her flesh. She reached down between her legs and pulled his hand against her "Do that a bit more" She looked over her shoulder at him, and popped her ass up a bit. It was round, she was on the verge of thick without quite getting there, her curves narrowing to a smaller waist and flat stomach. She spread her legs a bit, even as she looked back at him through half lidded Kohl rimmed eyes. She swallowed and let out another encouraging sound as she dragged his fingers over the pearl of her clit, then she looked back towards the headboard "I do prefer a man who isn't timid. A man should be a man. I'm Keshvian after all. I come from a country where men are overly masculine." She laughed "to the point of absurdity"

She released his hand, then folded her own under her cheek, laying on the bed with eyes closed. Her thick curly nearly black hair spilled down her back and some across the white of the sheets. "this isn't a bad bed"

Harrison stepped closer, grinning. "I'm glad you approve. And I am only absurd when telling stories." He joked as the tip of his hardened shaft brushed her dewy slit. Sliding one against the other, he made sure he was well-prepared for her. Leaning back and lining up again, he pushed forward, pressing until that delicious moment when he popped inside. Groaning deep in his chest, he let her muscles work around his tip. On the next breath, he sank as deep as her body would allow. Reaching up, his hands curled around her shoulders, pulling her back to him to make sure they had joined completely.

Once he felt her warm wet folds closing tight around him, he started a deep, slow penetrating pace. He seemed to be intentionally deliberate in his strokes to let her feel every inch sliding into her. Every ridge, bump, and vein seemed to stand out in stark contrast as he moved inside her.

Dieter smiles and bows toward the handsy tailor before turning his attention to Tiberious. "A pleasure to meet you. I definitely would like a cost for protection. Other than that.. I shall leave it up to the experts on what to wear. I'm not great with fashion, I just don't always want my body to be covered up. But when I'm out in the field I need protection and I don't wear armor. I think enchantment to the garb is the way to go, but that's just my thought. Like I said I should probably leave it up to experts." He looks up at the blond hair elf as he speaks. "I'll take as much protection as you can pack".
