This is an Alternative look at the series of Smallville.. It’s season five or there about. Jonathan has had his major heart attack after winning the State Senate seat against Lex Luthor who is not in the best of moods lately. Martha has left to take Jonathans place after the governor intervened. Leaving Clark and the Kent’s ward Lana Lang to fend for themselves and Lois is always around looking for a free meal

The day the meteors struck..........

On the day of Sept. 14th 1989. The Kent’s went to town. Too do their weekly shopping. Running a farm there was not much to buy. But Jonathon needed a few bags of grain for the horses they owned along with some corn seed which was their money crop and had been for years.

He found Martha in Knells flower shop sitting with Lana Lang Nell’s niece. Jonathan paid for the Tulips his wife bought and he smiled at the little girl. Putting the purchases away and watching the parade for the football team winning again. He remained silent because he knew Martha could not have children.

On there way home the meteor shower hit and tipped the truck over. The pair found themselves trapped. When a young boy emerged from a corn field and tore off a door letting the pair out of the truck. Martha wrapped the boy in one of Jonathans old work shirts. Jonathan never had the heart to separate the boy from Martha it just seemed to fit for them.
