I don't think glory holes are a real thing... for women, anyway.

It's quite hard to imagine many women wanting to give head to a guy without first confirming her sexual attraction to him. Plus, without seeing him first, there's the omnipresent worry that he's some smelly dude with the worst personal hygiene.

If giving a stranger head is a woman's thing, there's far better ways that ensure she'll be doing it to a guy she finds desirable.

Speaking from direct experience, your assumption is incorrect. GH's are definitely not a figment of the imagination of men who like the idea of a BJ from a woman. Though not as prevalent as M/M action, it's not rare at all to find woman or couples giving BJ's where I've frequented. I think you're missing the whole point of the GH from both perspectives, the giver and receiver.

Is there any way GH separates gay and straight orientation?
I can imagine that a gay man might be a little disappointed if I, as a girl, am on the other side? Or maybe it's not something anyone cares about?

No. No orientation separation. However, one can look through the hole and see the other side and always not go through with the act. That can happen with two guys too. Or if both want to give and not receive.
