If you discount equipment failure, age is is in essence a state of mind and attitude.

More often than not, age brings at least a modicum of wisdom--life is the greatest of teachers--but some of us still sleep through class.

But you can continue to have fun at any age--and a positive outlook always wins the day.

Heck, it's worked for me so far.

I have a funny to tell you,

About 5 yrs ago my daughter, quite seriously, asked my mom if she knew Cleopatra when she was a kid!

The tea I was drinking spewed across the table and we all broke out laughing.

My perception on old is, anyone who acts old is old!
My dad turns 79 this year and had acted old since the day he retired at 65!
My mom, she will be 62 this year and acts like she is 45!

My son came up with a saying for her once, Grandma Betty is BRISK! I asked him to explain, his answer was that she didn't act like other grandmas, she was fun! lol

I'm not so fickle. I still lust after the original women and appreciate their daughters and granddaughters as reminders.

I'm old enough to know that lusting after a former girlfriend's daughter or granddaughter just makes me feel ridiculous... particularly if the mother/grandmother is there to hug.

Probably more than most of the people on here.....

This lady reminds me of a certain old friend now passed that wore skimpy bikinis and went to nude beaches when she was in her late 80's. The body might look a little worn but the mind was sharp as a tack.

A young man laughed at her one time. She smiled at him and said, "If you get laid half as much as I have in my lifetime, you'll be dead by the time you're thirty."

The guy just stood there with his mouth open as she walked away.
