I must be the only one, but I truly hated this movie.

I hated it because it made it seem like only crazy people indulge in such behavior... ie... she was released from an institution, continue to cut herself... I know, I know some of us do, some of us don't....

Why couldn't she have just been some shy girl looking for a job...


I hated that he let her sit at that desk for days before he claimed her...

I did like watching his stuggle, but would have liked it better if he had been in more control of himself... what can I say... I like my Dom to be in charge...

There were just little things throughout the movie that really bothered me...

I did like the spanking scene at the desk...

I did like it when he claimed her at the end and cared for her the tub...

I just keep thinking to myself this movie had such potential and could have been made so much better.

This is just my opinion.

The Secretary is fun! He was an interesting sort-of Master. The ending is great though. Maggie is a great actress. It's on cable ALL the time. In fact has been on showtime or hbo a few times just this month

James Spader does characters well. And Etoile have to agree with you about the tree scene. Very nice.

I saw this reccomended on another thread and we watched it this afrnoon. I totally understood Lee and didn't all at the same time. LOL I need to go process things and think a bit...

Like many movies, this caused that painful awareness that what I crave so in my life is so lacking... Mental Challenge and physical impact... While I bit into a pillow to hide my grin during the spanking in the office scene, hubby just grumbled and growled how sick the two characters were.

I do find it curious how two people could be so involved in such an intense D/s scene and not expressed themselves in more tender respect (as shown in the bath care) as quickly. I don't think that the Dom was even shown kissing His sub until after she'd almost starved herself for Him. Personally, had I a Boss that dealt me such surprising discipline for typing error, I would have grabbed his hair and force- fed him several kisses of gratitude ---before turning the tables over to force-feed him some red felt-tips of my own...
