not through personals, but through the poetry board and 9 years later we are still making poetry. Who else met and matched here on lit.

I've met friends on college forums but that's it. And I've met people on Xbox Live that are still friends years later.

One guy I met when he was a mid-teen. We played a game of Call of Duty 4, and he turned out to not be one of those annoying brats. Then he showed me all the glitches in the game, like how to get out of the map and stuff.

Years later, we started playing again and I could tell he was a lot more mature. He was always on my friends list but I never deleted him. Now he's in college and a pretty cool dude. And I'm about to graduate college. haha

I met my present day wife on here, she responded to one of my poems. It went on from there to three kids, plus our his and hers and here we are with a total of eight kids, still madly in love......at least when were not just mad.


We met here over words of pain and torment and found words of life and love could be written between us.

Well, I suppose I was just bumping your thread then. I was just under the impression of any kind of relationship forming from an online source, whether friendship, dating, whatever.

Congrats on your success. I doubt it'll be common, though. Women and men online are shallow and wanting the quick and dirty. That's not true for everybody, but it's the common theme.
