There is an old expression when you see someone bring in a huge amount of money in a short period of time, that the only way to make money like that is likely dishonest. Trump as president has been pushing crypto currency, he basically removed regulations designed to reign in fraud, and he created a crypto currency that his kids have huge positions in. Trump also made a huge amount of money in the stock market taking positions in companies that do government business, and he took these positions just before it was announced that they got huge government contracts in the many billions of dollars that caused their stock price to soar.

It isn't the markets are a scam, I have worked in them my entire career now spanning many decades, it is that what Trump is doing is a scam. There are literally hundreds of pages of CFTC, SEC and other regulators regulations of markets that deal with insider trading , people having material non public knowledge and people who can influence markets putting huge positions. I would bet pretty good money Trump had huge bets on Kalsci (which his chip of the block scumbag, Jr, is a principal in the company) before the Venezuala and Iran actions. It is illegal to have markets based on wars or the like, but there are things like oil prices and so forth, and there was huge activity on those systems just before the actions were announced coming out of Washington. As they say, looks like a duck, swims like a duck, likely it is a duck.

So far it has held up, but it could also have a massive disaster because there is nothing real about it. Foreign hackers could wreak absolute havoc with it and yes, there has been fraud in it.

Political beliefs like religions are fair game for debates and even ridicule.
