Someone explain to me

Working with Congress is the sign of a good leader.
Getting rid of Congress is an authoritarian.
A good leader gets the things done that need to be done. Being likeable isn't part of the gig. :)

Where did I mention likeability?
Dictators ignore rules to enact their rule.
Hitler was.
Stalin was.
Un is.
Putin is.

Admire that as you need.
They ignore Democracy and force their will.

Forcing things not working to get things done in a sustainable way.

That would be a great argument if any of that applied to Trump. :)

You don't seem to be very well informed on what's been going on. You should test for dementia.
You told me what's going on.
You support the President bypassing Congress.
And think that Congress is there to limit the President rather than to check the President.

And I told you that you're stupid.

You should test your IQ.

This is where the lying begins. :)

Perhaps it is Congress that is broken. The system says insider trading and influence peddling are wrong (like Trump selling pardons or Qataris bribing Trump, not to mention all those business dealings by Trump and his minions with insider information) and the system says your Congress can remove a President. So why hasn't it?

Many outside of Congress get rich on the 'system'. It's systemic. Lol. :)
And they tell you a barista making a living wage will bring the free market system to disaster while billionaires not paying taxes is no big thing.

The Republicans hold a majority in Congress and are blocking all attempts to hold Trump accountable.
Perhaps gerrymandering won't save them in November.

Let us sincerely hope! The Democrats have done all they can as the minority party. Let’s see what they can accomplish with control of the House. The Trump house of cards is already pretty shaky. Once he starts losing it will all come tumbling down.

The value of what your contribution to society is thru your labors has a direct bearing on your expected compensation. It's not exactly a participation trophy. :)

In my state Democrats won 54.37% of the 2024 statewide vote but hold 82.35% of seats (14 of 17). Lol. :)
