Well the 3rd is friend/semi-regular play partner, not someone we are romantically invovled with. I get to beat on her when her regular play partner(s) crap out. She was one of the 2 gals taking pics of the collaring.

Of the 3 that were there with me, only janey and danielle are involved in an intimate/romantic/erotic relationship with me. The third is a friend/semi-regular play partner. See my answer to Fury above...

But on that serious note, that's a good question Sprinkles. One that I am really hard pressed to answer. The best way I can think of answering that is that janey and danielle are/were pretty much best friends before danielle entered the picture with us as a possible 3rd. It was janey's suggestion to bring danielle into our lives.

Frankly, I let them hash it out between themselves and when they were ready to go forward, that's when I said "okay, we'll try this and see how it goes." I spend time with both of them together, and with each of them alone. I don't do anything with one behind the other's back, or without their knowledge and consent. janey knows I love her, and she is secure in that love and in our relationship. danielle is still struggling with some of the confusing aspects of poly, and that's okay. We take the relationship one step at a time, one day at a time.

We talk a lot. I try to listen to each of them, I try to provide for their needs and desires as much as possible. I treat them as individuals, unique, each one special to me in her own way. I spend a lot of time just cuddling them. janey gets more sensuous play, danielle gets much harder play.

*grins and shrugs* I'm one lucky summon-a-beach.

Just to let y'all know, the poly experiment with danielle has come to a close. danielle was not comfortable with the feelings she was experiencing, and decided that this was not right for her. janey and I were disappointed, of course, but poly isn't for everyone, it requires a degree of trust and a level of communication that many are simply not capable of attaining or maintaining.

I'm grateful for the time we shared and we wish danielle well on her continuing journey. I'm proud of my janey for finding it within herself to not just make the attempt, but to actually make the request that we try. I don't anticipate it happening again any time in the forseeable future, though.

For those of you who were there to share the collaring with janey and me, again, thank you! *smiles* OUR relationship is still in place and going strong.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of my fav authors there, and I heard the bands are fantastic! It will be the first DragonCon Ive attended...
