Hi Starry - hopefully the 3T will give them some insight that they'll be able to work into your treatment plan. The pace of medical technology is pretty impressive - but still too slow when you're the patient!

I honestly can't wait for this to get done and they figure out what is wrong.
The pain level is back to where is was before the first surgery a year ago.
What worries me is that the whole recovery this has been an issue pain wise in the same spots.
I'm pretty pissed off the ortho fellow blew me & my team off for 3 months and had
no intention of doing anything to help me more.

Morning everyone! The net here continues to pop in & out every 3 or 4 days I get a day or 2 of net.
The tethering should kick in Thursday so I can get back on line with the laptop which is easier for posting here on Lit.
The new place still feels like living in a hotel. The cat is lucky I have not killed her yet.
Out of all the cats I've lived with my whole life this one acts the less like a cat & more like a mix of dog & bitchy human.

Good grief! That's -38.2 F if I did the math right! I know that it's possible to lead an active lifestyle in that kind of weather with the right outerwear but wow. Here's hoping you get over the flu soon without any complications.

Back from a work related trip (a mix of pleasure and work) just in time to get rained on again here in paradise. If this keeps up I am going to start building a small ark on the patio, just in case.

Afternoon all, it's been a beautiful sunny day here and couldn't be nicer outside. I took advantage of the weather and did some tree trimming, I've got a couple I'll have to drop later today or tomorrow though. I'm not a joy in yard working or lawn maintenance kind of guy but it's nice to get what needs doing done.

Hello, Space Cadets!

I know, it's been a LONG time since I've posted anything, and honestly, this is going to be a single post login. Lit, for me, just isn't what it used to be.

That said, I also have a few very good friends here, and I just spoke on the phone with Azul. I need to let those friends know what's going on with me, so I'm here to do that.

In a nutshell, I've been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. I'm doing chemo now, along with a bunch of other stuff that I won't go into right now. The prognosis isn't great, but it could be far worse, all things considered...

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm alive and kicking, and waging all-out war with this thing. I won't be back to post anything, or if I do, I'll post very little, really. There's a few reasons for that, the primary one being that I have more important things on my plate right now.

I will, however, log in every day to check my PMs. If anyone wants to get in touch, shoot me a message, and we'll figure something out. And for MMW, I promise I'll be in touch today on Skype at some point. I'm not using Skype a lot anymore, either, except for my kids, but I'll message you ASAP.

I hope that all of you are doing well, and as I said, I'll check my PMs daily to see if I need to contact anyone. Take care, all - and I'll be talking to you again at some point.
