Krispy Kreme Donuts have 2 limited addition filled donuts in flavors from Ghirardelli Chocolate. One is a salted carmel donut and the other a chocolate mint donut.

The occasional restaurant. They're generally dipped in some type of batter before dunking them into the hot oil. Some type of crushed peanuts, almonds or the like is generally best. If you've ever made fried ice cream its the same principle

I remember there was a year the news had a fried food story from the Texas State Fair. They were deep frying candy bars, butter, oreos and root beer. Crazy.

I'll occasionally purchase Eight O'clock whenever I see it in a store as its a bit of a trip down memory lane. What about the rest of you, what was the coffee your parents always bought to make everyday?

My dad used to go through 3 pots of coffee a day. What ever brand was on sale. When I moved down here I learned to like Cuban Espresso. They have about 3 brands of the cheap kind in espresso grind that I like when I cheat and grab some caffeine.

I love a good cup of espresso, though I do not make my own. To me, it is something to be consumed socially with friends, sitting around a cafe, maybe wearing our artist berets and talking about existential issues. Well, all of that except the berets.

The anchor people who tried it said it was just basically spaghetti & sauce that had been put into a donut form and cooked. I can't even imagine why it would be worth making the mess to try & make one. But I guess if you can get stupid people to spend $5 each to try them it might be worth the sales.
