I usually miss a bunch in Fridays because it's usually my double duty day.

Tonight I'm off though. :D

Good thing no one knows where I stash the extra bottles...I learned that from Tiamo. :p
did someone mention bottles? :D

Well my day has been odd but interesting.
Full of Marines, Memorial Day, Motorcycles & golf tournies.

We've had rain & my new shoulder hates it & me right now but I'm on Buttercup duty still

Well I just got fired from the Honor Flight Welcome Home event because that volunteer guy came up there & assaulted me while we were unloading the plane. I declined to go work that event anywhere else in the airport. It's amazing to me how the little handicapped girl in the sling is the cause of the problems by following the guidelines set up by that board. But according to the board I am the problem. So I am gone. Then so is the 10 cases of water & ice, the extra flags and cleaning up half of the airport that I handle.

That board is so passive aggressive and it's easier for them to kick me out then actually do anything real about the issues happening up there. So I will take my limited energy, time and income (I personally paid for the water, ice and even snacks when I could) and walk knowing I am not the real issue. I did send an email to my head Sheriff's Deputy who I have worked with for a couple years now. I thanked him and the team for keeping me safe and apologized incase I really was an ugly embarrassment that had to be dealt with. But no volunteer should have to worry about being assaulted at a family event let alone by another volunteer for upholding the rules of the event.

Needless to say this is gonna be a dark weekend here. I'm pretty sure I may just not attend the next mission training either. I don't have a real job but I just am an extra set of hands to help where it's needed. Last time I ended up loading cases of water in the rain with one arm in a sling. So I am thinking I really am not needed there either.

I'm really sorry to be reading this Starry but I kind of figured this was going to be the end solution. I really hate to say it but I've seen it happen to others doing a lot of volunteer work. :(

Spent part of today crying but I had a text back from one of the older ladies who runs the support team with me and has been MIA due to health reasons. The message was basically ~ screw them. it's not my circus, not my monkeys and if they want to blame me then let them find out the hard way how crazy and rude it can get up there. I did nothing wrong.

My uniforms on duty with me that night know the truth and if they decide they don't like what's going on they can choose to not attend as well.

If I get a call.... and I will for not attending the mission training event June 3rd even tho I don't have an assigned job... Then my big big boss will get to hear my team had a meeting and they all decided that attending anymore of their events is not an option.

Basically I'm too military and team based.

Sounds like you dont need them sugar, you dont deserve that treatment. Hugs and prayers that a better opportunity arrises for you:heart::kiss::rose:.

man I need a drink and I don't even drink....give me a something strong...like a soda water on the rocks! lol :)

Hi everyone, hugs for those that need one xx

Here’s a Glass of Root Beer…It’s kind of got an edge too it but I think you might like it better than an Orange Squash. And yes, I know what a Squash drink is….LOL… I’ll leave some Grape soda too, I like it better… Goodnight all…turning in now.

Morning everyone. :rose: Been up since around 3:45 am.
We had some major storms roll thru with heavy rain.

Hey TNman have you tried the hard sodas they have out now???

Thank you your Blueness for the coffee. It's a PT day and I'm gonna need it.

Think I already celebrated Victoria Day early with a friend.
There were fire works if I remember correctly.

I've tried a few of them at some get together's I've attended. I'd much rather have a good quality beer instead of a hard soda.

OK that's what I was wondering.
Or even if mixing a soda water into a flavored liquor would be better.
They can be kinda pricey at least down here.
