ok it's been one long weird ef'd up weekend just the cherry on top from a week of weird.We are still not sure if God was aiming at me or the college daughter up in the front of the house....or the church across the street.

Saturday morning a little before 8 am we got hit by lightning here. it flipped the breakers and took out some electronics, the cable TV & net plus the water. Once I figured out it was a hit here and no other place was dealing with no water I texted my landlady who was on vacay up in the pan handle scalloping. She managed to find out it was not a city issue and got us a plumber to come over quickly Thank God cause we had a huge water eruption on the other side of the house from mine where the strike apparently came out the water pipes.

The plumbers got the water issues fixed to big bucks, some of the electronics came back on with the breakers being reflipped, but until the cable company gets here Monday there is no TV or net. I am used to no TV and I can get net thru my android tethered to my laptop. due to the cell tower hit last Tuesday I can't get net on my cell the normal way but tethered I can thru the laptop because it's a different kind of digital feed. How freaking weird is that???

but we never figured out who was getting aimed at by the lightning strike. Me, the daughter or maybe the church across the street??

Yeah I'm really blessed cause if that had happened at the old place I'd have had one of 5 old oak trees land on top of the house and most likely something burning from the hit as well. Then I'd have waited most the day for the landlords to actually return any contact let alone come over and help turn off the flooding water from the hole or had to call the fire dept a couple blocks over.

Things are still upside down crazy here. My landlords/family came home from vacation a day early due to our lightning strike.

The cable guy made it here yesterday cause the guys can't go without Nascar. Not sure yet if he also got the new modem installed or not cause none of my passwords are working on the new numbers listed.

The plumber got water to us Saturday but he's coming back today while Lou is here to make sure where the lightning hit the line is still doing ok. And then check with the city on the rest.

The cell tower is still out so my bars keep bouncing to nothing at 4g then it hits 3g then I have spotty coverage. The only net I have at the house still is tethered thru the android but trying to get net on the android still is a joke with the tower out. Apparently it's a different digital feed.

once I am away from home to another cell tower then the android works great like normal. welcome to my world where tripping doesn't require any drugs or strange herbs

We are having Fringe Festival, so we went to a few Venues on Sunday- oh it was around 80 F and the Day before it rained like crazy even had a little Water in our Basement
