Starry - hope your painting is going smoothly!

I'm cleaning up some pieces that need finished from before the last surgeries. Plus I have a couple custom pieces people have ordered before Christmas to do. I was shocked there are people who have waited 2 years for me to get thru the last 2 surgeries for me to start painting again.

I almost have 4 green market baskets finished. 2 pods that I just have to tweak out the hibiscus on and then start laying in paint on the mobile mural cat portrait. I got approval on the payout this morning at PT.

The day has gone pretty smoothly - meetings all morning and then I am going to take the afternoon off to take care of some personal business that has been waiting a while. So, I used that as excuse to take the entire afternoon off. I need it and I am looking forward to it!

Wow...So many Trick of Treaters

We passed out 20 bags of candy..

Most ever!!!

Loved the costumes.

Our dog sat with us...2 or 3 pieces of candy each and you had to pet our sweet collie mix.
Some thought the dog was sweeter than the candy!

I got treated yesterday.... I had stopped for gas after taking a friend to an ER run. I had cash for a change so I walked into the station and a guy held the door open for me way ahead of my getting there. I thanked him and told him that had been the best thing to happen this week. When I went back out to my truck to pump my gas, he was apparently from the flower truck I was parked next to and had just done a delivery. He climbed out and gave me a dozen pink roses and told me to have an awesome week.

Seriously I posted a picture in the vintage thread that's my home thread. I'm so glad my friend was there to see it happen cause no one would have believed it otherwise. It's only the 3rd time in my life I ever had anyone give me flowers.
