Thank you Spencer, Dream and everyone else here for your kind words...I'm just hanging in there day to day awaiting the morning I have to go under the knife again. Until then I have to really behave take things easy and try to keep my sanity Thank goodness for places like this to keep the juices flowing and the mind working, lol

Spencer be careful and take care. You've been going through a lot of bad weather and I just hope it subsides and clears up so the ground can dry up some.

P.S. Our local NWS predicted hot, humid weather for today but they were wrong (as they are most of the time whenever there's a storm or two brewing in the neighborhood, lol; they'd pull me in and lecture me if they heard me saying that, hehehe) - it's raining!

Just another rainy day in Hawaii...what we call "liquid sunshine" where the sun is shining but it's raining. Go figure.

But nothing major (WHEW) Getting tired of all this nasty weather.
And I thought moving up north away from the hurricanes was a smart move!

Well it's not easy getting away from bad weather. No matter where one goes mother nature always has the upper hand.

Good Monday to everyone

Father's day was nice. Heard from all of my kids and that is always special. I miss them dearly. I don't live near them and so it is special when I do get to see them. But it is nice to hear from them.
I want to thank you all for the sweet Father's day wishes.
The weather has been very nice for the past few days.
And work is work and that is about it. (oh how exciting my life is... lol)

hope everyone is doing well. Nothing much here... just doing some computer work and that is about it. Going to apply for a job on Monday. Hope I get it. Also have another app in at another place. They said they plan on calling people back in July. Going to hire 40 people. I scored well on the test so... I guess we will find out if I make it or not.

Spenser good luck with you job interviews. I hope you are able to find something that is both rewarding money wise but something that is rewarding to you and that you love. Been really hectic around here lately. But I think this week maybe I will catch up on things that need to be done and hopefully get some rest too! My son left for church camp this morning. So this house is going to be too quite! Take care sweetie!

Yes I'm with tonitits; we can't wait to hear the results of Spence's interview. I'm sure he did well!

Just wanted to bump the thread and say "hello" while I'm awake (new meds got me so sleepy).

Check out my story "Unbridled Lust" chapters 1 and 2; they got posted recently and would appreciate any feedback and comments. This is my very first attempt at being a writer (usually I'm your typical poet writiing about life's ups and downs).

Hope to hear from Spence soon...take care all. The 4th of July is around the corner and here in Hawaii people do fireworks on their own properties and sometimes we get a spectacular (although illegal) aerial show like those put on at Disney and such. Have a good one and stay safe.

Morning Toni! Got up twice this morning (once when my SO woke me with a bunch of kises to tell me he was off to work and later to the sound of rain falling. It's a cool, rainy summer's day her in HI and I'm not complaining , beats the 89 to 90 degrees we've been having lately with practically no wind.

How's things in TX? Got a cousin who moved tbere about a year ago and she loves it there. She's just a fun loving party gurl that will have fun anywhere she is guess that's why we used to get into so much trouble when we were in our teens and then some

Hope to hear from Spencer too. Sitting on the edge waiting to hear how his interview went. All of my toes and fingers are crossed.

Take care and until later....time to lay my head down again and let my meds take me into la la land (plus my back is really sore - must be the rain adding to it)

We are having the second wettest June in history and there is alot of flooding, some in areas that always flood but some that never do. THe FT Worth zoo had to move animals and some ppl to higher ground Monday when the Trinity river overflowed and yesterday they had to shut down 6 Flags due to a creek that overflowed and looked more like a roaring rapids. But they opened today. We got a little rain this morning and supposed to get a little more later. We are at 79. I am doing as well as can be expected and going to lie down shortly myself so that I can work tonight. Hope your back gets to feeling better and that you have a great evening.

Ahhh what sweet people you are

To be thinking of me like you do... Man I am blessed with sweet can caring friends.

Well I went to the first job, and give them my app. They said thank you, the owner is on vacation and will look at apps when she gets back.
The other place says they still plan on talking to the people who applied but not until after the holidays. So not sure when that will happen. And for that job I did one interview and passed and then did a test and passed so waiting for final interview.
However in that job, there were over 60 people who passed and only 40 will be hired. Not sure where I place on that list.

I will be honest if this does not pan out, then I am going to focus on my own business in computer repair. I have been doing this for a long time but work has not been that plentiful.
But, if I get out there and start beating the streets and try to get some ads out... (money) then maybe I can get more work coming in. But that is if these other two fall thru....
So we will see what happens and again... thanks for all the good thoughts and posts...
