Hi Chiper and Lynn,
Sorry I have not been around... I have lost a couple of friends to cancer and been dealing with all that.
And I have another friend that unless there is a miracle, she will die of cancer as well.
It just feels so strange to start seeing friends who you have know for years starting to die off.

Anyway... remember the families and if you are one who has someone who is suffering from cancer... Our thoughts and prayers go out to you...

I didn't see this until now..A friend of the family passed away a few days ago as well. It's always sad and difficult when a loved one passes away. Sometimes..it's just not fair.

Thanks ... yea and the thing is, I am not able to attend the funerals.... Oh well... They still live in my heart...

It's cool out here on the porch. There are about 10 deer just a few yards away from the house feeding. They looked up at me when I first came out but they have ignored me and gone back to eating.
The frogs and crickets are making their night music... and the sky is cloudy but I do see stars from time to time peek between the clouds.
The only other sound is from the rocker as I slowly rock back and forth and listen to this evenings concert...and drink some hot tea.

I sometimes wonder if I think waaaay to much and end up thinking myself out of things rather than into them.

Anyway-mind is clear(ish) and I've taken a chance-lets hope it pays off-luckily I don't have to fully make a decision immediately-so there'll be more thinking to come yet! Am i being cryptic enough? lol

First of all, when you have a major decision to make, it is better to think and rethink it then not think about it enough. Some people can jump into something too soon and regret it. But some can analyze it too much as well.

The best thing to do is listen to that small voice inside and go with the peace you have. And if you ever want someone to talk to... I am here and I know there are others here that have great ears to listen with. (sort of ... lol)

I love the morning air... it is clean and crisp... I can hear the dog at the bottom of the mountain barking.. birds are doing their morning song and there is a little coolness in the air but not as bad as it has been...

Dark howling stormy day here-the kind I like to spend either out in it by the sea but seeing as I'm about as far inland as you can get in the UK I'm here with the heating turned up under a pile of dogs!

Just booked my train ticket to Scotland for my holidays in May-a stone cottage on the island of Mull awaits me, my best friend and her dog-lovely!! Only wish someone else could be joining us but it isn't to be-we will have other times together I am sure of it

Nothing new in my neck of the woods. How about everyone else? I will say I am glad the rain has stopped. FINALLY but supposed to be back by the end of the week. I will enjoy the sunshine while I have it.

Hey I didn't see this before... where the heck have I been? lol those dang drugs.... this is nice.. a fireplace?? oooh I love fireplaces and those are so rare in florida... nice view too. I love the mountains. When I retire I want to live on Walton's mountain somewhere peaceful and quiet...

glad you guys stopped all that raining stuff. we even had a little bit here but back to a gorgeous day again. A great Monday all in all. I got 'bumped' to my next level of exercise - whoo hoo

I am ok hon... however starting to feel a bit under the weather.. not sure if I am getting the flu or what.... but got a sore through and body is sore... oh well... guess I will be taking it easy tomorrow... glad you came back and sorry about the PC stuff... if you ever need help in that area, I work in computers....
