Tra'lamira (Trah-Lah-Mir-Rah)

/ooc Two blue monkey things? I take offense, I like to think I'm better looking then a monkey ;) Almost attractive in a human/cat/alien sort of way thank you very much :D

/ic

A flash flooded her mind as she felt unfamiliar serge of energy in her, then a cool hand stroking her cheek in a loving manor. Stretching her long muscular feminine body, the purring starts again as she all of a sudden feels peace and warmth. A smile and sigh of contentment spreads across her features as she is slowly brought out of her dreaming state.

Her eyes flutter open then look up, her cat-like irises dilating to the bright light of the examine room. Blurry, she tries to focus her eyes blinking multiple times till she plainly sees the face of one of her own race. A questionable look crosses over her face as she looks up at him, then her words ring through his mind.

"K'Tur?"

Captain Emerson

'outstanding' Emerson thought to himself. He'd put his crew up against any in starfleet... they moved with a cohesiveness that rivaled the borg...and an inventiveness that bordered on genius. When the helm relayed they had evaded major bombardment, it was not questioned, when weapons relayed direct hits,it was accepted without questions, when the Dr relayed that the other alien was on board and safe with us... it was not questioned."Telnak, fire at will do as much damage as possible I dont want them following us anytime soon. Rock, get us out of here. Argos open that door, Savok make sure it closes without anything hitting us on the way out...engineering, I need to know how much energy well have when we arrive and just what well need to get back...the time is now"

Savok worked steadily at his station. A battery of particle beams lanced into the Hera's shields. The inertial dampeners compensated, but only after the blast had rocked the bridge. The Vulcan bounced from side-to-side, then looked over to Rock.

"Shit," he said, choosing the most likely human characterism he could determine.

Savok noticed that the removal of the pod from space had caused the rift to begin to close. A photon torpedoe strike at the pod's previous location would seal the tear permanently. He fed the data to the tactical station.

Apparently, Lt. Deniotnem had engaged the Borg with great success. Savok noted that the Ferengi was now outrightly attacking them, obviously using the structured code that he had sent to him. If it did not work, then he was sure that Den would no doubt continue his attack. Savok raised an eyebrow to himself. It was a most logical conclusion. Savok decided that he would make a point to commend the Ferengi on a job well done when he returned. And, if he did not return, and no one would receive his katra, then Savok would wish him well on his journey to Shakaree.

Only a matter-antimatter anhilation would seal that rift. Savok knew that Den had little time to complete his attack. In order for the rift to close, when Argos was ready, it would require precise timing, and a concerted effort to move the ship away from the torpedo detonation and into Den's path so that he could dock.

Savok informed his captain of the new information.

Lt. Denoitnem:

At the back of the shuttle/biomass ship, I begin to tap colored panels, powering the transporter. Suddenly, I recall a conversation between a couple of officers in the Astra, from earlier today.

"Do you believe that's all the captain did to me?"
"All? A week confined to quarters and you're off the bridge."
"Yeah, well I did destroy the transporters on the shuttle with my little experiment. I'm glad she didn't just beam me into space."
...

Realizing that the shuttle I am in is unable to transport, I quickly hail the Hera: "Captain, I'm setting the shuttle to self-destruct. Shields are down and I could really use a transport back to the Hera."

Waiting for the shiny blue to surround me, I pray that the Hera beams me back before I cross the Borg shields.

OOC:

Don't beam me back please... I think I have written that character out of the thread. It has been wonderful... and I may come back as another character after a short break.

Until last night, I was juggling 7 threads... I'm gonna take a breather. It's been fun... ciao for now -bobo

Argos

Reaching engineering he heard of the great news. Good, now they could finally get out of here. He felt the ship rumble again, and looked at the map readout of the ship.
"Argos, we need power to the transporters, now."
He shook his head, looking at the power situation. If someone tried to use a holoshower, the shields would go offline.
"I can't give it to you yet, hold on just a minute."
"We don't have a minute."
He apologized, he really did. At once, he went to the relay emmitors. He began replacing the three month old manifolds with newer ones. It wouldn't help much, but an extra kilosurge would help emensely.
"That hole needs to be opened, now."
Shit, why was everybody picking on him? He opened the main console, looking down at the rift. There it is. He loaded the first torpedo.
"Ok. We're going to have to shoot from the hip. No time for coordinates, too much energy and not enough time. Fire!"
It was released, a surge rocking the ship once more. It exploded right at the rift...
But nothing happened.
Oh no.
"Fire the second one, same spot."
He fired again, moving towards the destination. It exploded, this time bigger. Again, nothing though.
Come on!!" He hit the console. At once, it began opening, ripping was the more appropiate word. It ripped itself, as a hole big enough for the ship to go through slowly emerged.
"It won't hold for long, now or never Captain."
He diverted all power to the shields and the engines. All they had was impulse. He even had to have life support offline for over half the ship. Nothing horrible would happen, as soon as they were through he could begin to repair everything.
How long would it take? If they were going where he thought they were going, the aliens home world, they would be far away from any space station. Just him and his engineering crew? It would take a week, at least.
"Oh, shit," he began pressing in a set algorhythm. (i know you don't want rescued bobo, but do you want to Quiet cool?)
It relaxed power striaght from the crystals, a raw surge that would only last a minute.
"I'm giving you enough power for one transport, make it count," he said, releasing it. At once something in the emmitor manifolds exploded. He winced, but couldn't do a thing. This ship was going to look like a used rag doll once they were done.

Ben

I followed the other Borg through the corridors that seemed both extremely threatening, and intensely comforting at the same time. I found my way to the main viewer screen, on which I found a small craft that appeared to be a small vessel waging its own assault on the Borg vessels around it, and a small pod drifting in there as well. I decided the best thing for me to do would be find a way off the ship, since transporters would not be able to transport through the Borg shield. I debated for a moment, then I saw something I'd never seen aboard a Borg ship before. A large red door, closed, but not locked, as the Borg doors were rarely locked without an alert. I headed toward the door, moving slowly between them and waiting as it opened...
Escape pods...
The Federation had set aside a few Borg to create a new individualistic Borg society...had they done this? Had they willingly created their own hive and assimilated themselves to it? Or were they not fully assimilated?
No time to think...I hurried over to one of the pods as the power suddenly faded and the self-destruct sequence began.
I wondered if, in their new consciousness, they would be cocky and assume the lifepods would hold up under the ships power. I climbed into one of the pods and pressed the closure and launch sequence button--one button, simple, to the point...very like the Borg.
The pod closed, lights suddenly flashing and glowing around me...the pod had its own power source...
More Borg suddenly rushed into the pod bay--well, hurried, rushed was a bit beyond their physical capabilities--
I hit the launch button, watching them seem to rise above me, the floor under their feet. A moment later, I was in space, watching as the vessel became further and further away. A few moments later, more pods came bursting out of the Cube. I glanced in the pods various screens, one showing each direction of the pod. I was headed into the blackness of space...

I was kidding silly ;)

Telnak

Telnak fired the phasers at every point that was shown to her on her tactical screen as she watched the shuttle and the pod, hoping not to hit them. It was then that she heard the comm call from the shuttle, causing her to look at it in the tactical screen. She hoped that Lt. Denoitnem would be able to get out of there before the shuttle blew or he was taken aboard one of the Borg cubes. She looked at the screen and said, "Come on. Get out of there you blasted Ferengi. Get out of there."

Ooc: I so totally knew that (hiding head in shame). If you'll need me, I'll be having a conversation with Captain Obvious about a few things.

K'Tur:

Turning his head just so, K'Tur gave the female a quizical look. He still knew her name, but little more. "Tra'lamira..." He replied, soothing the other side of her cheek with the back of his hand. She was indeed beautiful, a princess to their people, just as he, himself was a prince. He knew that their royalty would mean nothing in the world he had awoken to, other than to each other perhaps. There was a shimmer in his eyes as he slid his hand down along her shoulder, gathering her hand in his to kiss the back of it lightly.

Captain Emerson

I flinch for a second as I am faced with the impossible. but I dont want to belive in the impossible. Transporters I need a lock on that escape pod and on the runabout and I need it now. I reach over the helm and do the calculations in my head...realizing what Argos and Savok have already been telling me...we dont have the power to save them both...As we careen towards the rift I realize we only have seconds. "lock onto the signature that you CAN reach and engage"

Lt. Denoitnem:

Somehow, my ship passes the Borg's shields. Before they can assimilate me, I raise the shields on the shuttle and push foward, hoping to destroy the last borg vessel. I launch the torpedos ahead of me and watch.

The two torpedos and my shuttle are the arrow that will kill the animal we are aimed at. Impact of the torpedos is spectacular. Mere meters from the crater that the torpedos created, I think to myself about the rules of acquisition. Is there one for this situation? Maybe the eighty-fifth? "Never let the competition know what you're thinking."

"The transporter is done, sir."
Argos cut the power, looking at what he had left. It wasn't much, things were beginning to shut down all over the ship. Consoles blinked out. The ship's warp core shut down. Even impulse was offline.
Finally the bridge, medical, and even Engineering itself shut down. All of it, turning to blackness.
"We're out of power," he said, quickly plugging in his own PADD to the console, letting the power run it. A few minutes at least, he had to get things back online.
How to make it to that rift... they were so close. He began shifting through ideas.
Quickly, he scanned the distance. Only a couple hundred kilos.
"Come on think," he nearly shouted, pounding his fists against the console. At once, it exploded sending sparks all around him.
That's it!!!
A slow smile came to his lips.
"Quickly, get the starboard nacell online, I need the manifolds to be warmed up, now!"
PADD's were being plugged in for main power. Consoles were small beacons.
"We still have main power?"
"Yes, but..." the ensign trailed off.
"But what?"
"Artificial gravity..."
He didn't need to finish. It was obvious already. Small things began to float up, as did people. Argos, quickly used the loss of gravity to his advantage, slinging himself to the warp core.
"I don't understand, why am I warming up the manifolds on just the starboard side?"
He began computing the high output frequency.
"We're going to blow it up?"
"WHAT???!!!???"
"I don't have time to explain, warm up those manifolds."
He began sending out a crystal energy that the nacell wouldn't be able to handle.
(is it Nacell? I'm just guessing)
With the higher frequency, the surged energy will store until it will explode, hopefully sending them through the rift. He quickly told the crew of his actions.
Not like there wasn't much of a choice, it was either that or being dead in the water. He couldn't see anything else.
"Ok, sending the power through, now."
It happened, another surge of power crashing, the consoles now black as well. Quickly, Argos jumped, having his body in the air. It would help with the shock from the ship.
A low rumble began, the power was storing up, slowly. He could feel it, since nothing else in the ship was running. That was all there was. One nacell, gathering energy.
The low rumble began shaking the ship like a rag doll. It rocked back and forth, before...
KABOOM!!!
The ship lurched forward, as if it were hit by something. All at once it stopped. Like it had just gone through something. Had it worked, were they through?
He checked the console. Nothing. Quickly, he plugged a PADD in.
There, it was. The other side of the rift. The space was all new, nothing ever discovered by the Federation. A huge planet was easily seen. The blue monkey home world, he assumed.
Quickly, he ran a simple diagnostic that would rid the warp core of everything it had gone through in the past hour. It was a slow debugging process.
After a few minutes....
Lights were on, consoles blinked back to life. Gravity was there again, impulse online. The warp core still wasn't working, but he didn't expect miracles. Life support, even transporters on a limited basis. Sighing greatly, he opened up to the captain.
'I'd like to acess all the damage, it shouldn't take more than a half hour. I do request we have a senior staff meeting so I can explain to everyone what has happened."
Sighing, he looked over the Starboard nacell, or what was left of it. It looked like a severed limb, the nacell completely destroyed. It was a clean wound though, nothing else seemed to be damaged.
He began running diagnostic checks for everything, seeing exactly what needed to be done.

Mackenzie Calhoun

Mac Awoke to the face of a young woman " Where Am i."

The woman Answerd " You Are At my Home On Inventar Prime. I have some clothes That will Fit You. Now that I answerd your question. Why were you in the desert With no cloths on And what do i call you?"

Mac Looked at her And Thought about her question " Idont Know WHy or how I Got out there leta lone where my cloths went to. As For who I am, I am." He posses as he trys to remember "M'K'N'ZY Of Calhoun. No I was M'K'N'ZY Of Calhoun. My Name is Mackenzie Calhoun."

"Well Mackenzie You will be fine. In two days I beleive."

Telnak

Telnak looked at the tactical screen and wondered where they were. After the nacell had been destroyed the Hera had been thrown through the rift and brought to a place they had no knowledge of. The same thing had happened to the Voyager and they were lucky to have returned to the galaxy alive. She looked over at Captain Emerson and was about to say something but she saw that he was trying to figure out where they were himself.

She walked over to where Savok was and said, "Do you have any knowledge of where we are. Better yet, do you have any idea of what the reason for sending our ship through that blasted rift was. How are we going to make it back through now. The Borg are probably going to follow us through there and we don't know where we are but I have a feeling they do."

Captain Emerson

Captain Emerson caught himself as the gravity returned. "Transporters did you catch Ben or Denoitnem? Savok, Argos I may be rusty on Quantum physics but that blast you used to push us through has sealed the rift?" Captain Emerson looked at the readings and if this was true then they had at least bought time and cheated death for the time being. "All decks I need status and damage assessment and I want it in 20 mins. All Senior staff I need reports and prospects within the hour and I want the proposals enacted within 2 hours so we can change the shifts...All Senior Officers Report to ready room in one hour." The Captain headed to the transporter room to see if either of the two errant crew members had made it and to check on the 'guests' in med bay two.

The doctor came into focus.
"Please state the nature of the medical emerge..."
He looked at the two blue monkeys.
"Oh," he smiled. Nodding to both of them.
"Well, I've done just about all I can with tests and things. I would say you are free to roam the ship, but I'm not sure what Captain Emerson wants to do with you yet."
He quickly checked the records from when he was away. Ahhh, a meeting. He would like to join that. Quickly, he walked to the back, grabbing the mobile emmitor. It was very big, like a fanny pack. He wore it around his waist, like a fanny pack. And it opened up like a fanny pack. (lol)
He grabbed a PADD, putting the final readings down on it. Giving both of the blue monkeys a smile.
"I shall be back fairly soon, until then just sit tight," he could see they weren't really listeninig to him, "Well, ok then."
He left to the conference room.
(Fanny pack: I'm trying to go retro on the whole mobile emmitor thing. I mean, it couldn't always have been that small. Had to start somewhere...)

Tra'Lamira

She smiled up at him as she felt him kiss her hand; it was such a loving gesture from someone who she had only seen once before her Pod trip. A reddish hue glowed from her cheeks as she sat up and scanned the room with her clear blue eyes, her thoughts connected with his as she questioned him.

"Where are we?"

"Ahh, a ship, how did you get here?”

His mind sent answers back to her as she asked. Yet she was not completely satisfied with what she knew, turning she placed both her hands upon his face and looked deeply into his eyes. Tilting her head to the side she smiles warmly and purrs, she would connect her mind to his even deeper and read his memories. Nodding he relaxed and let her probe her way into his mind farther, then his eyes locked with hers as she came to the door she needed to get into to.

"K'Tur." She breathed in deeply and began the memory scan; her eyes widen, and her back arches as their powers intertwine.

wormhole

Savok made a small adjustment to his sensors. "We are now located at coordinates two-four-three-seven mark two."

Savok noticed that what he said didn't answer Telnak's question. "Space is relative. Coordinates hold true no matter where we are." Savok looked at the sensor displays again. "Fascinating," he said. "According to light measurement from the nearest star, we are somewhere beyond the Delta Quandrant."

Savok shook his head. "I can not be more precise at this time."

"There is a Class M planet bearing three-five-zero at four thousand kilometers." Savok heard the order to scan the planet for lifeforms.

"Scanning," he replied. "Lifeforms confirmed. Carbon-based. They are scattered across the planet's surface unevenly, as if they had been randomly deposited there." Savok continued the sensor probe. "There are remains of cities and technology. Typical Borg signature. Entire cities have been removed from their placements."

Savok called for his ensign to relieve him. He took a PADD and downloaded the current readings database into it. He would visit the lounge and eat prior to reporting to the Captain's ready room. It had been twelve point seven hours since his last meal.

OOC: the 'fanny pack' emitter is an excellant idea. I always thought that thing was kinda small for its job.

Counselor Gor

Septana noted the captain's orders. She had already completed her preliminary report on the alien being known as K'Tur. Deciding that she needed to assess the second alien before reporting to the captain’s ready room, she returned to med bay 2.

Immediately Septana sensed a bond between the two aliens. Actually they seemed oblivious to her presence.

Septana took note of the female creature. She was smaller and had delicate feminine features. There was something sensual about her almost feline grace.

She addressed her.

"Hello. I have already introduced myself to K'Tur. My name is Septana Gor, ship's counselor aboard this vessel. I have a few questions."

Septana smiled once she had the female's attention.

"I would like to know how you came to be aboard and what you are called."

K'Tur:

"How could I have forgotten about the bond?" K'Tur chided himself as his mind opened to Tra'lamira, only briefly. There was a short period of time, when two of his race teleported together, where their minds were almost completely receptive to one another... It was an odd quirk, and hardly ever used. But in this case K'Tur submited to it. She knew what he knew of his whereabouts now and he pulled away as Septana began to speek. He looked up at her and smiled while he still held Tra'lamira's hand.
