Chas has informed me she will no longer be playing the part of the ship's XO.

If someone would like to take on this role, with a new character, it is open for you. The backstory will be that Chas' character, Khalest, had a family emergency which required her to leave the ship. A replacement would most likely be promoted within the crew. Or, if no one wishes to promote their character, and have them perform dual roles of their present position and acting as XO, then you could come up with a new character that was shuttled to the ship as a replacement.

If no one assumes this position, then I will also play the part of the XO.
